Salon At Ridgewood Village

Went for the first time today and got an appointment with Barbara. She was super friendly listened to me and gave me different options and also some tips for styling. Walked out feeling like i had a makeover!! Wonderful experience will be going back!

It was my first time there. Everyone was very friendly and the salon was very nice. Barbara was my stylist and she did an excellent job! My hair is permed and she gave me lots of info on new products to use and she is so pleasant to be around I would recommend her to anyone!

I had my nails done by Vy for my brother's wedding and they look AMAZING! They were the perfect shape and length I wanted. I am so pleased with my experience and so glad she was able to fit me in at short notice. I will definitely be coming back.

Camille is the absolute BEST! She gave me the most gorgeous lash extensions and she is such a sweet and friendly person to relax and talk to during the process. I LOVE how fast my makeup routine has become now that I don't have to bother with eye liner, lash primer and multiple layers of mascara!! Thank you, Camille!!! 😘

I have had the best experiences at Salon at Ridgewood. Teresa Bond is an amazing stylist and great person! She also does gorgeous Aveda color which is so hard to find. I have also gotten several facials from Kat Lewie and she helped me find a regimen to heal my skin after it got destroyed from stress and wearing a mask every day. I love this salon and the entire staff is fantastic! THE salon to go to in Waco!

Had a very unpleasant experience with Barbara just for booking. I don’t know anything about her service but I would never go to her. I won a haircut and styling from her in an auction event which I will gladly pass on to someone else. i booked for color and haircut with her. As color was not included I would have paid for that service. I was running late for her scheduled appointment (5pm ) I called and spoke to the receptionist who was very polite and sweet if it’s alright if I come at 5:30 to which the said Barbara can’t wait that long. I told the receptionist I have a son who is not comfortable in a salon setting and I will be there by 5:15-5;20 latest. The receptionist was very nice and said that’s alright. When I reached there Barbara was at the front and said she can’t do my color however she can do my haircut. Mainly I wanted color. I told her I called and spoke to the receptionist to which she replied ‘ just because you called doesn’t mean i can do it’ . This is so unprofessional ! Not once she said you can come other day or I can reschedule . She offered to pay me for the haircut and styling gift card which I refused because I don’t want money I wanted a nice color with haircut. I myself am a dentist and know some customers get late and you can not accommodate but there is a way of handling situation. She could have politely said I would have to reschedule you. I felt she just wanted to get over the gift card and not make a customer/ client . It’s not about free work it’s about how you make others feel in peoples work. And clearly Barbara was uncomfortable form the start which made me uncomfortable with her too. Would never recommend her. Maybe some other hairstylist are good and I might try them some other time. Ms Barbara should know how to make clients or be respectful to them rather than being so unprofessional ! The salon receptionist and other people I talked to in my consultation and booking were very sweet and nice but got a very different uncomfortable vibe from Barbara .

Shyanne was suggested to me by one of my coworkers. She is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend her as a stylist. I came in my hair bright red and somewhat of a dyed at home mess. I have a lot of hair and it was a decent length when I went it. I asked for a balyage of at least warm browns and some lighter blondish colors. (Knowing going from red to blonde is not going to happen in one sitting). She was able to get me blonder than we hoped! It was awesome, she worked so diligently and spoke with me on the process and possible outcomes. She is very knowledgeable in her field and has my complete trust in my hair decision making. I highly recommend looking at her Instagram @shyanne_lane The rest of the salon staff was fantastic, everyone chatting and laughing. They also offer nails and some hair products in the salon. It was clean kept and a very upbeat atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
