Mr. Jim was absolutely amazing.... I had never had extensions before so was very nervous but him and his staff made the whole experience comfortable and exciting. Not only was the ppl great. My hair couldn't have turned out better. My friends and family can't even tell its extensions and not my real hair... for the first time in years I finally feel like me again.. My boyfriend has been going to see Jim for a few years now for Japanese straightening. I finally made the jump and I am so happy. I have thick, long hair so it’s always a chore to straighten myself. This is the straightest it has ever been! Jim is a magician!

Wow! Jim is incredibly talented, knowledgeable and professional. I usually get my extensions done in New York City or Los Angeles but due to covid all salons were shut down. I found Jim while visiting in Birmingham and set up a consultation and took the risk of having someone new redo my hair extensions. That was a great decision! My extensions have never looked so good and I am 100% satisfied with my service. A++++. If you need a new hair person look no further! Jim will take good care of you.

Nicest salon Ihave ever been to. Jim is the best stylist i have ever had! He is excellent with color, extensions and contemporary hair styles! I have never had anyone cut my hair, thicken and lengthen before. Now i can enjoy styling everyday and i have so much more self esteem! I Also wanted to mention how Nice and enjoyable all the employees are! Jim Ostrosky’s is superb and I love the aveda products! Such a wonderful place to come and relax while getting pampered and treated with professionalism as well as friendship.

I'm extremely picky about who does my hair, and I heard about this place from a friend so I decided to try it out. I'm so glad that I did! Shelby did a fantastic job on my hair and she was so friendly. She made me feel like I've been coming there for years even though it was my first time going to that salon. I got a haircut, shampoo, style, and balayage and my hair looks amazing! I highly recommend Jim Ostrosky Salon.

Jim absolutely changed not only my hair but my life. My hair was so thin and bald in places that I could not wear it down in public at all. Which sucks being a sophomore in college with date parties and socials to go to. I was embarrassed to even go in public and was so depressed. Jim actually made, what I thought was impossible, work and I now have a full head of hair! Would 100% recommend. I am absolutely so happy with how my extensions turned out! Thank you so much Jim!

WOW! Incredible results. Good grief y’all!! Hair is so soft, shiny and smooth. Last week I had my hair thermally straightened. Process took hours but Jim was super precise with my hair, layer by layer. I have a lot of thick hair. It has a natural wave and more of a course texture. It’s not one of those naturally pretty beach waves, it looks more like a hot frizzy mess without drying it. Before having my hair straightened by Jim it took forever to blow dry on the highest heat setting- as well as my flat iron. However today I just used the cool setting to dry my hair AND without a flat iron. It’s incredibly straight, smooth, shiny and I can’t believe it. Very well worth your time and $ ladies!!!!
