Absolutely amazing experience at Hair Barn! I am beyond happy with my hair. She did an incredible job blending everything out so seamlessly it looks so natural and smooth with zero harsh lines. The color matching was spot on, like it was made just for me. You can tell she truly cares about her work and pays attention to every detail. My hair feels healthy, looks flawless, and I walked out feeling so confident. If you’re looking for someone who really knows hair and gets the color perfect, Hair Barn is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been going to Gina for 10 years now. She’s always done an amazing job on my hair. I’ve let a few cut in between, but they never get it like she does. If you have questions, she’ll answer them as well she’ll guide you in the right direction always! I drove all the way from Yantis (1hr 20 minutes) just for her to cut my hair today. My daughters also both got their first "big cuts" from her as well. They love it & can’t wait to go back! She’s very patient, attentive, kind, and very skilled✨💇‍♀️ she never forgets you & alwayssss asks for updates on family, so sweet. (Don’t mind the color from "before", that was in October 2024… my hair hasn’t been cut/colored since then which was just face framing layers, but very much grown out at this point..hence the color differences…she did no color today😊 she would’ve had I asked though!) I told her I needed lots of layers for volume, and that’s exactly what she did! She also added some sassy waves just for the heck of it (she knows I don’t style my hair much). Thank You, Gina ❤️ can’t believe we’re at the stage you’re cutting both my babies’ hair. ( their pictures are a bit blurry, they were too excited to stay still😅 bless them). Simple trim for my youngest’s hair.. Short bob style for my oldest’s 😍 all smiles, gorgeous. Very reasonable prices. Left paying under $100 for all 3 of us! Amazing. Looking forward to next time 🥰

Ladies if you are into pixie hair cuts, bobs with undercut, Gina is the Lady you need to cut your hair, she is amazing. Honestly dont waste your time and money elsewhere I tried 2 other places before finding Gina. I will never go to anyone else. Gina you have a customer for life. Thank YOU I love my hsircut!!!

I've been searching 10+ years looking for Gina. I happened to chance it and I will follow her anywhere. She says her place needs to be fixed up, but I'd beg her to cut my hair in a pasture. Gina is super talented, and I can't say how excellent my hair came out. She says she can do it and you need to trust her. She's a wizard with a razor, and knows the hip styles. I never have to wash and restyle my hair afterwards. It was hard to find a before, but definitely an improvement. Her dog Biscuit is so loving and is right by her side. You MUST make Hair Barn your place. Not the fanciest place, but is that really what you're hair needs?? Thank you Gina, I'm so happy.

New to Tyler area. I was really not sure where to go for my hair needs. I was stuck with the same old hair style from 2018, and needed something new, to suit my new season of life! I googled hair salons, and read multiple reviews! I knew by the reviews I wanted to try Gina Hackett at The Hair Barn! Gina was so kind and gracious ! I’m not a hair dresser and I needed guidance! This is my fabulous new do! Thank you Gina, my husband loves it, and I will be back.

I got my first haircut from Gina and 100% plan to come back. She has years of experience, and it shows clearly; she is an *expert* at cutting hair. I came with a rough idea and she pulled up pictures on her phone to make sure we were on the same page, then worked with me to change things. She was very patient and made sure I liked it. The next place I went I got complimented on my hair! I'm super excited that I have found Gina and can return to a high maintenance short cut. I trust her to develop any cut/style I want, she will nail the cut and it's not going to break my bank or be a hassle to keep it maintained. Gina will take a credit card, but cash is better (due to fees associated with credit card processing). 10/10 would recommend **UPDATE** I came back and got the super short cut I'd been wanting, and Gina did a great job. I'm very happy with it and looking forward to having Gina maintain it!

Loved my hair. After searching for quite sometime....I have finally found a hair stylist. I received both, a great cut and color. I definitely recommend Gina. It was an awesome experience all the way around, she is great with hair and nice to visit with. I will be back again and again.
