California Cuts

I love this place! Jemas is an amazing and professional person. I have been going to California Cuts for 11 years. Look what an amazing job he did.👌

I’m delighted to hear that your experience at the salon was wonderful! It’s especially heartwarming when a first-time visit turns out so positively. James’s fabulous job!!!

Called to make a last minute appt for a child. A toddler child! Already having one failed attempt a few weeks ago, I was open minded. The nice lady who did my grandson's hair cut was amazing! She approached very friendly & quietly. He was still a little hesitant, but she was so patient and snipped when she felt it was safe. Before long, we were finished...with few short breaks. Thank you so much young lady! We appreciate your gentleness and he looks so handsome.

This place was absolutely wonderful. This was my first time in to get my son's haircut. He's 17 months old. James did a fabulous job on his hair and was so welcoming. The atmosphere is very clean. I didn't realize that it was cash only because their credit card machine was down right now, I told him I would run to the store to go get cash and he persisted on me coming tomorrow, next week or whenever. He understood what it was like to have children and needing to get them home and showered after their haircut. mind you it was my first time coming in, he doesn't know me personally but yet trusted me to come back whenever I felt like it to pay him for his service. You don't see that ever. It was a wonderful experience, and my son's hair looks great!

I have had such a hard time scheduling hair appointments in Turlock, but I think I finally found my new place! They were able to get me in on short notice the day before Thanksgiving. Prices are reasonable, but be aware that it's CASH ONLY and come prepared. All the stylists seemed great and also nice. I'll definitely be going back. I just did a shampoo and cut (no style), but I thought they cut it exactly as I wanted.

I've been taking my nephew here for the past year and I absolutely love this shop. They are so nice and accommodating. The owner just squeezed us and despite the rush did a fantastic job with my nephew's hair as always. If you have kids, this is the haircut place for you!!

I came in an hour before they were closing and the lady still dyed my hair, also styled it. I was taken care of and was offered to try some food the workers made. Overall I loved my hair they layers and color where perfect and she gave me the best blow out. My length is still there as well.
