Salon 520 Beauty Lab

Ok. Look at the photo. This was 2019 when I got that haircut in SF. It was a banger. Went to another hair salon here in Tucson to get that haircut recreated. Botched as hell (middle photo). It was poofy as hell, looked awful like a mushroom crown etc. After 2 days, I decided to get an appt at Salon 520 to see whether they can fix that botched hair. I am usually not dramatic about hair because it grows again...so whatever. Walked in, Sheila started going through my hair and explained to me what we're gonna do and I showed her some reference pictures (incl. the original haircut) for her to understand what I need with that botched hair. Sheila did such a great job salvaging my hair, I am so happy. It is the same cut like in 2019 except for no balayage and highlights since I just wanted to get it salvaged. Thank you Esther for establishing this magical place. Thank you Sheila for making this experience such a positive one. You guys got a new regular now.

After reading the reviews, I decided to try Erica. She did not disappoint. She listened and did a great cut. Most important she is not scissor happy. I am very pleased and will be going back.

I am so beyond happy with my cut and color!! I am one who has had horrible experiences with getting hair cuts and have such high anxiety that it took me 5 yrs to get my hair cut. I was so happy with my experience with Erica!!! I got a cut and my first color!! She did a fantastic job!! Better than my expectations!! I felt so comfortable and she was amazing throughout the whole process!! I have long hair and she is the first person to respect my length. (I have had some people chop it off) You can tell she loves her job. She was just as excited as me!! I walked out feeling like a new person. Even my husband cried!! I will be back!! I have been a frequent for a few years now. My stylist left recently but I plan on using Erica as she has been my teenage daughter stylist for a long time now and my daughter is always been really happy with her.

So I started looking on Google maps where too go for hair salons so I could get my hair trimmed or chopped off since I hardly go and I go once a year...so I went to this place it's called salon 520 beauty lab ...they are chill and laid back company...if you want to get a hair cut appointment in they can help you...just call and they can set you up with a haircut 💈 appointment...they are brand new and a small company only a couple people so bare with them ...I went and got my hair cut from them and they were the best ..I would definitely suggest this place for haircuts of any kind...they are a bit pricey..they are about $40 for a haircut...you may be able to get one cheaper just ask...here are some pictures I took to help

I've been coming to Salon 520 since I moved to Tucson in 2022 and it's been my go-to for all hair needs! Esther, Leah, and Erica are all fantastic - patient, warm, and easy to work with. I love their haircuts and scalp treatment, and recommend this place to everyone! A shout out to Esther for the straightening service - it's helped me manage my naturally frizzy hair and such a life-saver in this heat!

I found Salon 520 on Google. I read all the reviews, starting with the lowest reviews. I decided to give this place a try. I haven't had my hair cut in over a year and I usually start hacking at my own hair because of the bad experiences that I have had and I figure I could do just as bad as a hairstylist and have only myself to blame. Anyway, I had Nicole as my stylist. Nicole is wonderful! I wanted a deep conditioning treatment and a hair cut. The deep conditioning made my hair feel super soft. When it came to the haircut, Nicole did a fantastic job. Most often people cut off way more than I want but Nicole cut off less than what I thought would have to come off. The cut is very nice and exactly what I wanted A blunt, straight cut with some face framing. Nicole wasn't rushing or telling me what I wanted. I scheduled for a color next week. I trust this stylist. You can't always let the bad reviews cloud your judgement. Every business has bad reviews as everyone has bad days. I highly recommend this salon. Nice atmosphere. They even offer you something to drink. Give this place a try. I recommend Nicole!
