Ezquidio's Hair Studio

I recently visited Toni Lucero at Ezquidio's Hair Studio for a haircut and highlights. Upon requesting layered cuts, I was left with unblended layers. Additionally, the highlights did not match the blonde color I had requested, resulting in inconsistent coloration from root to tip, with purple highlights in the front, copper patches throughout, and brassy yellow highlights. The colors did not blend, and I was not satisfied with the final result. Furthermore, I was denied a refund by Ezquidio Valdez, the owner. Toni Lucero claimed to have worked on my hair for three hours and used a substantial amount of product. Both she and the owner maintained that they saw nothing wrong with the job. I sought a second opinion, which confirmed that the job was subpar. The stylist correcting my hair identified multiple mistakes, including the use of the wrong toner, which resulted in the copper color. I incurred a loss of $200. I advise others to exercise caution when visiting Ezquidio's Hair Studio and Toni Lucero. SEE PHOTOS BELOW! Disappointed customer!! Toni Lucero also bleached and ruined a brand new shirt I was wearing. Ezquidio you’re sick how dare you accuse me of this terrible haircut. This is what I showed you that day and you refused to even look at it. You didn’t want to take responsibility for anything instead you walked away. I was suffering enough when I went to show you what Toni did to me, why would I chop up my own hair. Pictures are taken from different angles!! It’s so sad you couldn’t be fair and instead you’re deflecting. Only a deranged person would think I cut my own hair. FOR ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW THIS IS THE BS YOU"ll HAVE TO PUT UP WITH and suffer with. The stylist correcting my hair couldn’t believe the disaster. He said, he has had to correct bad services from Ezquidio’s hair studio. STAY AWAY FROM EZQUIDIO’S HAIR STUDIO THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY! The crazy part is Toni has 30 years of experience that’s what blows me away. She refused to acknowledge the bad haircut and color. Ezquidio thank you for acknowledging it’s a terrible haircut and color. I knew you would eventually have to agree. Why would I consider cutting my own hair? This comment seems dismissive of your customers. How could you imply that I cut my own hair? Refrain from making unfounded accusations. You've made a comment while avoiding accountability, which may deter people from visiting your salon.

Ezquidio does EXACTLY as I ask and I am very pleased every time. Lovely shop and all the stylists there are pleasant and appear to do great work from what I have observed. Highly recommend.

I’ve been visiting this establishment since 2021 and have LOVED the service and haircuts. The reason for the one star is Maria A Martinez aka Toni. From the start she was very rude and standoffish almost like she didn’t want to cut my hair. I asked for an inch off and long layers, LIKE I DO EVERY TIME!! I have no idea why I walked out looking like a lion with lots of short layers. It’s taken years to get my hair the length I had it and now half of it is gone! All thanks to Toni. If you visit just stay away from Toni! 😊

I’ve been coming here for years. Because I live far, I’ve tried other studios and nothing compares to getting my hearing cut at Esquidio’s. Everyone in this studio has at some point cut my hair. I trust them all and the receptionist has been there forever. It’s always nice to see the same familiar faces.

Ezquidio is amazing! I will only go here for my hair he is a miracle worker and I'm even going to book him for my hair and makeup for my wedding coming up soon! I love you Ezquidio you make me beautiful!
