Abraxas Salon

First time going to Jackie but I needed a trim before Thanksgiving. I usually go to Linda. Jackie was also good & I was very pleased.

This was my first visit of I’m sure will be many to Abraxis. Linda spent so much time on my hair . She paid such attention to detail, and worked with my curly hair while giving me wonderful tips on how to avoid frizz. I’m a totally satisfied customer.

Linda will always do what you request, has great style ideas and is extremely accommodating ! I have been a true blue customer for over 45 years !!

Spoke to the Owner and had the worst experience. I would not recommend to anyone in ocean county. She was the most brash, rude and least compassionate person I have ever encountered. I had an issue with my hair and was looking for a salon for help with my hair color and she did not give me the time of day. I work with people daily for a living and I had to laugh at this terrible personality of hers. YIKES!! Don’t waste your time. Super disappointing.

I had an appointment on 5/4/24 at 1pm. The outside says Sola Salons and is kind of on the side of the Ocean County Mall. My pet peeve is when my time is not respected and my appointment didn't start until 140. Not great for a mom who now has to rush to pick up their kid. I can't complain about the service because I really did like my haircut, but Linda was pretty unpleasant. She was super condescending when she realized that I came in with my curly hair unstyled and not freshly washed. I only wash it like twice a week since it's very dry but I was told it was "dirty". I assure you, it wasn't. She also told me "if you're getting a curly cut I would assume you had some knowledge of curly hair." I've styled my hair curly for 4 years, I know plenty. But nowhere on the website does it say how I should come to my appointment so I just did what I've done in the past and went in product free. If you want me to come in a certain way, state that when I book. She then told me I should have called. Why have online booking then? So much was wrong about how she spoke to me. I declined then to have my hair washed and styled and got out of there as fast as possible and I absolutely won't be returning. Disappointing because it was such a nice cut but what a terrible way to do business.

I have been going to Linda for more than 15 years. She is always friendly, professional and always has given me excellent cuts, colors and styles.

Jackie has been doing my hair for years. I am really particular and have pretty curly hair. She listens to what I want and gives good growth and care advice. I’ve been through a lot with my hair and she sets me on track with each visit. I actually go more now because of the results I get from regular cuttings and treatments from her. Loving the new salon space!
