Y’all when I say I had the most relaxing experience! My hair was done to perfection FOR MY WEDDING DAY! Customer service was A1 and overall environment was clean, welcoming and chill. She has a tv in the back when doing your hair, and in the front a holistic wellness section. So you can get slayed, healthy and entertained! Overall the BEST retwist experience I’ve ever had! (And the longevity of my style was unbelievable)

I have social anxiety, but the energy in the salon is very welcoming and chilling. Which makes me comfortable, and I can also be myself around them. Yas helped me out a lot with my locs. She has been maintaining my hair for over two years now. Overall, the salon is comfortable, and you will never catch bad energy from anybody there.

Very disappointed with how my hair appt went yesterday. I asked for a trim and the owner ended up doing an actual hair cut. She cut off so much of my hair, and not only that but it is completely uneven. One side of my hair is about a good 2- 3 inches shorter than the other side. It is clear that the owner does not have experience with trimming natural hair and does not know the difference between split ends and healthy ends. I had asked her to trim on blown out, stretched hair so I could see exactly how much she was taking off but she she wanted to cut on wet hair, when my hair was in it’s shrunken state, which didn’t quite make sense to me. Every time I have gotten a trim previously, the stylists cut on my blown out hair so they can make sure everything is even and so they know exactly how much length they are taking off. I don’t think she actually realized how much hair she cut off because it was wet. I went back home and my biggest fear became real. Blowing out my hair again, it is so short and I am struggling to process how it got to this point. My biggest regret is that I did not stop her immediately when she started cutting. I guess I trusted her as the stylist to only trim off what was necessary but I think she may have been scissor happy and cutting off more than needed. It’s disappointing that I have worked so hard to grow out my hair and now I have to basically start all over. When I voiced my concerns to her, she just dismissed me and said that since my hair was long, it wasn’t "that much" she was cutting off. I want to quickly mention that the woman who washed my hair yesterday and detangled was very professional and made sure I was comfortable. Also, I did not end up getting charged for the visit.

Yayo is wonderful! She made sure to make my experience perfect! She even bought me lunch! Thank you so much! I’m so ready for my locs to flourish! I know I worked her hands a bit because I have a lot of hair but she did over 160 locs in my hair and worked quickly and made sure that we were comfortable and entertained! I love her shop and I will be returning! Thank you again beautiful!

I booked an appointment on booksy. I showed up early and knocked for over 10 minutes waiting for a answer to the door. I called her number three times. It was very unprofessional of her to not show up for the appointment. My appointment was at 5:00 pm. How do you as the owner say you don't use booksy but that is where your platform is. How would I a customer who has never been to you before know that you don't use booksy? The app never asked for a deposit. I will absolutely NOT like my time wasted again. Thank you.

Yayo is amazing. The area where she performs her magic is beyond wonderful. Smells super nice with the shop where she has her herbs and oils laid out graciously and the hair shop was so clean and well kept. I absolutely enjoyed the high heel shoe seats. They were adorable. 🥰 She spent a wonderful time and made sure we ate and everything, I feel ashamed of myself because I really want to give her more however I’m sadly unable to at the present time. Parking was easy and accessible. She is absolutely as she promises. Divine in every way. I thank you for all the information, and helping me to begin my long loc journey. Yayo is friendly, honest, and make you comfortable as she works her hands to create art on your head. She is VERY knowledgeable of loc care and repair...she also is knowledgeable of herbs, selling a variety in the form of smoothies, juices, and oils.
