Visible Changes (inside The Woodlands Mall)

I have been losing my hair due to chemotherapy. My experience on 2/11/26 exceeded my expectations. My hair stylist Sid was so kind and compassionate during the time I was in her care. She buzzed my hair and took time to help me try on several fun wigs. Sid is truly an asset to your organization. She made me feel special and beautiful under circumstances that have been difficult. My hair was halfway down my back and super curly before my illness. Now I have the confidence to own my new look and break out my vintage hat collection. Thank you Sid for going above and beyond!

I am not fond of getting my haircut. I often go years in-between cuts. I was Visible Changes early in the week. I was a walk-in and it had been a year since my last cut. When I told the stylist she could do what ever she wanted to to my hair, Kelley rose to the task a succeeded quite admirable. She was absolutely amazing and I love my hair style. I highly recommend Kelley.

Visible Changes is an early 90s-vibed mall-based hair salon chain that has outlasted the competition and is the best reason to return to the Mall. Original to The Woodlands Mall, this location must be celebrating 30 years in operation with little change, though it has been exceptionally well maintained. As a man, I'm interested in a cheap, consistent haircut, which is harder to get than you might think. The cheaper you go, the less consistent or satisfying the haircut, and more excellent salons only offer a little, if anything, for the extra cost. I would describe Visible Changes as "Good Value for the Quality and Service," so your mileage may vary depending on how much you value an excellent, consistent haircut vs. low cost. It will be cheaper than a high-end salon and more expensive than a Sports Clips. Many people work at Visible Changes their entire career, right out of cosmetology school, and work their way up, so it's a salon that breeds loyalty and a team that works hard. Their products are of good quality, and the staff is always knowledgeable. They offer various levels of stylists to match a price point, but over the years, those price points will increase as your stylist's experience increases. They also have some oddities, like an outdated online booking system that is challenging to use and can often lead to confusion, they charge credit card fees, and they don't take American Express. My wife and I will continue to frequent Visible Changes unless something visible (notable) changes (a little joke there...).

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this facility before!! I’ve been going here for color & cuts for years! They never disappoint!! Cindia is amazing & I just love her! She just did my Balayage and nailed it! She’s always on the point with everything & knows her stuff for sure! Kelley has cut my son’s hair since he was so little and then mine today, she’s the best! Detria has always cut my daughter’s thick hair & has the best scissor hands! 🙌🏼 Stephen has always cut my moms & he’s super talented as well! From the moment you book, reminder call, hair time, wash outs with timers & checking out - This is the best Visiable change & I will never go anywhere else, hands down!! Laura did an amazing job! I am very pleased with her work I love it! Mrs. Dana cut & styled my hair and I absolutely love her work too! Very happy customer! Will definitely return. I’ve searched and searched for the right salon and i believe I’ve found it! Great customer service everyone is so welcoming and nice.

Update: The manager has reached out to me and tried her best to understand and listen to my concerns. I greatly appreciated it despite the situation. Original review: A $87.55 haircut under 25-30 minutes, after waiting 40 minutes for the hairstylist to be done with the previous client is not something I would have expected from the hairstylist I have gotten my most recent haircuts with. I managed to get a second opinion on said haircut, in which the stylist said it was unfinished, uneven, and was nothing more than a foundation cut, and I was lucky enough to have them fix it for me. All I can say is I was left disappointed and disheartened after the service I’ve received for such a premium price. I will not be coming back any time soon.

In all my life, every time I left a hair appointment I’ve always had to wait a month or two before I liked my haircut, that all changed when I came in and got my haircut done by Yany, she knew exactly what I wanted and she executed it perfectly. Not only that but it looked gorgeous as it grew out. When I tell you that appointment was worth every penny I truly mean it, 100/10 no notes
