Feels good to finally feel like I can trust a stylist! I've had two haircuts here so far, and I have loved them every time! Jamie always treats me very well, and is very knowledgeable and talented on how to cut your hair to embrace your natural features, which is exactly what I had been looking for❤️ I left the salon feeling happy and satisfied. Jamie really listened to my requests and expectations, and communicated how it would work with my hair type and headshape. It felt like she understood me, and understood my vision. I definitely recommend I think it's the smoothing treatment from O&M? That they offer? Anyway, it has lasted me longer than I expected and made my hair super silky and soft. I will be returning, and would recommend this salon and Jamie to any friend ☺️
DO NOT BUY HAIR EXTENSIONS FROM THE BEAUTY LOUNGE. I have no issue paying thousands of dollars for high-quality extension hair, but the quality must match the price. I moved to The Woodlands at the beginning of this year and began getting my extensions from this salon. On May 7th, I purchased a new install of two rows of 24" weft extensions, which totaled approximately $4,000. The color and placement were beautiful, and I’ve always loved working with Sarahi — she still does my hair today. However, the quality of the hair was extremely disappointing. About two months after the install, I had to cut off 2–3 inches of length after paying an extra $800 specifically for 24" hair. By the third month, the hair had become so dry, stringy, and thin that it looked and felt almost synthetic. By 4½ months, all of the length was essentially gone, and I was forced to replace the entire install far earlier than expected. I included photos showing how my 24" extensions had to be cut down to about 18" or shorter. Because of this, I went ahead and paid for another full install in October — another $4,000. Again, the color and placement were beautiful, and Sarahi did an amazing job with what she had to work with. That install was done on October 15th (two rows of 24" wefts). I went in for my first move-up on November 19th — roughly one month later — and I already had to cut 2–3 inches of length again, despite paying an additional $700–$800 for "extra long" 24" hair. On top of that, the hair was so thin and stringy after just one month that we had to add a tape-in weft for fullness. I was then charged approximately $1,300 for ONE tape-in, even though that price is normally for two tape-in wefts. At that point, it felt like money was being taken from me on top of already receiving low-quality hair. What made the situation even worse was how it was handled. The day after, during a lash appointment, a stylist came up to me at the front desk — in front of everyone — and began running her hands through my hair while "talking" to me about it. I was never taken to a private area, never apologized to, and nothing was offered to make the situation right. Instead, the blame was put on me for "not using heat protectant," even though I come in almost weekly (sometimes more) for wash-and-style services done by their stylists, which cost over $200. I never do my own hair! They have full records of how often I’m there — I am a very consistent client — yet no one reached out or attempted to resolve anything. I’ve even shown up for appointments before where the stylist simply didn’t come in, and I was told, "We’ve been calling and texting her, I’m so sorry," and I still rescheduled without any issue. Despite my loyalty and professionalism as a client, this is how I was treated. Overall, this has been extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and a very expensive experience. This is not how a business should operate, and I would strongly advise others to avoid purchasing extensions from The Beauty Lounge.
Absolutely Phenomenal Experience with Jamie at the Beauty Lounge! I can't say enough good things about Jamie—she is an absolute hair magician! I came in with a botched haircut from another salon, feeling pretty discouraged. But Jamie worked her magic and somehow turned it into the best haircut I’ve ever had. Seriously, I walked out looking and feeling like a whole new person. She took her time, listened carefully, and didn’t just fix the cut—she elevated it. Jamie also showed me two different ways to style it, both of which were easy to follow and made me feel like I just stepped out of a magazine shoot. What impressed me even more is that she encouraged me to reach out if I ever needed help or wanted to learn more styling techniques. That kind of care and follow-up is rare—and so appreciated. I was so blown away, I’ve already booked my next appointment. Jamie is a true professional, an artist, and someone you absolutely want in your corner when it comes to your hair. Highly, highly recommend! This wasn’t just a Salon, it was an experience!
Megan is a AMAZING stylist. Love love love the way my hair comes out every time I left. I was so anxious about getting extensions, but she ended up making them look even better than expected. Totally recommend 🤍 always does my curls absolutely perfect! Love our conversation and is so super welcoming and it’s refreshing to have someone who truly cares, listens, and makes you feel your best before leaving the salon !!!
I am so grateful to Jamie for walking me through how to style my curly hair. Only took 40 years for someone to teach me! 😂 Jamie was so knowledgeable and passionate and encouraging! She even sent me a whole typed out step-by-step process and product recommendations after the fact. I am excited to give the curly-girl lifestyle a try and I never could have / would have if it weren’t for her!
It was my first time at The Beauty Lounge, and I had such a great experience with Jamie Varney! She made me feel so comfortable and really took the time to understand what I wanted. My hair turned out absolutely perfect — even better than I imagined. You can tell she’s passionate about her work and genuinely cares about her clients. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I can’t say enough about how happy I found Rachel L. I moved here from NY and have struggled with other stylists until I found Rachel L. She listens and explains every step of the process of your appointment! I get compliments almost daily about my hair and working in customer service that means so much to me! Thank you Rachel for making me feel good about myself and giving me confidence in knowing I found the right person for me. I highly recommend her to everyone. 🥰
