Had to get a last minute haircut for me and my 2 boys. It was really close to closing time, and they not only fit us in, but had an amazing energy, and Great cut! If you’re in the area and need a haircut I definitely recommended stopping by!

✨ If Beyoncé and a Power Drill had a baby, it’d be Pebbles. ✨ Let’s start here: I walked into R&B Salon nervous, awkward, and low-key clueless. I walked out looking like I had a full team of aunties, ancestors, and angels rooting for me—and honestly? It was all thanks to Pebbles. The salon itself has that real energy: warm, funny, full of laughter and good music, and the kind of joy that just settles in your bones and makes you exhale. As someone who grew up in a very white suburb and didn’t spend much time in hair spaces, I had a lot of anxiety. I was worried I’d say the wrong thing, use the wrong term (spoiler: I did), or just feel out of place. But nobody there batted an eye. They welcomed me, educated me, and never made me feel stupid for not knowing something. It was chill, it was kind, and it felt like they were rooting for me. And Pebbles? Listen. This woman braided my hair in 6.5 hours with the speed of a magician and the precision of a NASA engineer. I told her I wanted braids long enough to use the bathroom without accidentally sitting on them—and she got the math right, OKAY? That’s real talent. Not to mention I have breakage in the front, and she still got every strand laid and blended like she was painting a masterpiece. I brought my own hair, but they also have hair for sale right there in the salon if you need it. Pricing was fair, the vibes were immaculate, and honestly? My hair looks even better today than it did the day I left. Also—and I can’t stress this enough—my mom would’ve loved it there. She passed a few years ago, but I know how proud she would be that I found a space where I felt safe and seen. She always worried about whether I’d feel comfortable in places like this. Pebbles and the women here gave me that moment. And I’m still carrying it with me. So yeah, if you’re looking for a new salon, go ahead and book the appointment. If you’re anxious? Go anyway. If you think your hair is too damaged or too short or too whatever? Go anyway. If you’re Pebbles’ boss and somehow reading this? Give that woman something. I don’t know what your budget is, but I’m telling you: she deserves more.

This Salon seems to be a bit overpriced for the services rendered. My son's braids were nice but...uneven my daughter's silk press was nice as well but still puffy at the roots. She wasn't satisfied, I had to redo her hair when we got home. My mother's hair could have been better. I was also charged for services for my mother that she did not receive. Between all three I spent about $200 or $215 on homemade hairstyles. I chose a black-owned beauty salon because I wanted to sew into my brown skin community and this is the love that we receive🤦🏾🤦🏾😢🤷🏾

Love this salon for all my daughter's braided hair styles, haircuts and silk press. The stylists that work here are so talented and very good at what they do, not to mention everyone is super nice and welcoming. This salon offers braiding hair for purchase and there is also a beauty supply store in the same shopping center. These convenient options are great for busy moms. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend.

The staff were really sweet and welcoming! I loved the vibe this salon gave. I came in for a silk press but my hair looked like i got a basic flat iron it was stiff and had no bounce or movement. Besides that my stylist was very nice and respectful in everything that she did.

My touch up appointment was awesome. I just love love ❤️ the staff and my stylist. The atmosphere is Top Tier. Nika is amazing, she takes pride in her work and in her clients hair. Brandi thanks for referring me to your staff. I love the shop!

I love this place!! Every lady in there is great! All very talented artists! Shaenequa Hicks is my braider and let me tell you she is awesome she always has me laced up tight!! My braids last forever 😍 thank you Shabooboo!!
