Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

Loved my experience! It was my first time coming here and got my hair colored and trimmed! My hair had split ends and I was able to talk to my stylist about my concerns and she recommended me a deep hydration conditioner treatment with a trim! She was amazing I never caught her name but she did an amazing job! My hair feels so soft to the touch and is so much more shiny! Feels amazing and I am getting many compliments and my confidence definitely went up! Their prices are amazing! I definitely recommend and will come back here! I didn’t take many before pictures but the last picture is what my hair looked before and the first 2 pics are my after 🙂

Trang I just want to say thank you. I had an appt with her at 6pm 2 kids cuts and 1 adult. Not only did she stay late to make sure all our cuts were perfect but she helped me recommend what would look best for both girls and myself. She was so amazing with my girls we had so much fun. Trang thank you for taking great care of us but also my mom for years until she passed. She adored you. Thanks FS for being a great salon.

Never let Yolanda touch your hair. I been going to Fantastic Sams for years. Trang is great and has great conflict resolution skills when it comes to other stylists. Yolanda has disappointed me twice maybe more. She got a color wrong and It went Orange, i had to buy some toner to make it right. However, yesterday’s wrong was the last straw for me. I went in and asked for a medium length cut with simple face framing layers. Mind you, my hair was close to my waist and it was a huge change for me and I was nervous about the whole situation. Welp, she snipped and THEN asked if it was ok. I didn’t know, exactly how much because it was in the back. As she got to the side of the hair, I was furious. I kept telling her "Yolanda this is too short, my hair is wet this will get shorter". She kept saying, ‘It looks like the picture". She gave me a Bob cut to my shoulders with no layers. At this point, It’s too short to put any kind of layers in it. She cut over a foot of my hair, with little regards for her error. It almost felt intentional. I walked out fuming because I didn’t want to make other customers uncomfortable. I called Trang, and explained the issue. I’m now walking about the world, looking like a curly Dora the Explorer in hopes of my hair growing back soon. I’m extremely disappointed, she should have asked about the length before snipping away.

Do not go here! They chopped my daughters hair . It looked awful. She was in tears after leaving here. The lady who cut her hair was on her phone most of the time. (Very unprofessional)I have called twice to speak to a manager to complain and get a refund and I still have not got a call back. They don't care about you nor your hair. They could careless. I had to take her somewhere else to have it fixed.

5 stars for Madina! She was absolutely fabulous! She had another client, was answering phones and cut my hair due to a scheduling issue with the Fantastic Sams Website. 3 stars for Fantastic Sams. I scheduled with a stylist for 0915 but that stylist doesn't even work until 1pm! The salon was also out of color and a lot of other products needed to complete services. I will definitely see Madina again!

The atmosphere is very warm and inviting! They greet you right away when you enter the studio. Madina is the best!! She is skilled in trying new styles that I am interested in and curious about! She’s friendly, polite and a very loyal friend! At FS Taylorsville, you’ll get your hair done to your satisfaction!
