I got what I paid for, John cut my hair for $60. I had a nice cut previously and just needed a trim keeping the style. The cut took maybe 20 minutes max, and it is lopsided without the layers I had. On side with layers cut shorter than the other side

Joke's on me for going to a white hair salon to get my hair cut. I gave an exact description of what I wanted and they managed to fail in every regard. Uneven shaping, cut off my widow's peak without asking. I don't know how to salvage this

The review I posted 4 years ago was: "Michelle did a great cut and color! Best ever. Thanks!" I'd still say the same today. She does a wonderful job! Especially as we emerge back into public life, it feels great to have a fantastic haircut from a lovely person, and to come back into the world feeling good. I highly recommend Melissa!

John is absolutely incredible and the most impressive hair stylist that has ever worked on my hair! He is knowledgeable and highly skilled, his consultations are accurate and he knew exactly what I wanted and needed! Usually my haircuts take an hour and a half (I have super thick and long hair) but John finished my haircut in 30 minutes including wash and dry, he works fast and is detailed and highly talented! He knows his chops! I won't be going anywhere else in the DMV area for a haircut! He is friendly, professional and the salon has amazing energy and is delightful!

Very good. I am not a very stylish person, so I can't say anything about their other services, but the experiences I have had getting my hair cut there are great. The guy who cuts my hair, John, is also the owner. He is really nice and does a great job. The prices are low. They also sell shampoo and stuff in case you use a specific kind. If you need a cut or some other hair-related thing this is a good place to go.

Regretably tried this place again went from decent to terrible. Butchered my hair and said "it's just hair it will grow back " I look TERRIBLE. BUYER BEWARE. the stylist was over booked again and completely messed up my color and cut. My bangs are like an inch down my forehead, I asked for red hair I got light brown. It was all I could do not to cry. Wish I could give negative stars. My suggestion would be to allow your stylist time to provide a quality service. I paid for a cut and style and booked ahead, but my appointent was put on the books so she wasn't prepared and had hair appointments every half hour. The cut and service was decent but rushed and she didn't have time to properly style my hair. I may try again as I felt bad for her and she still took me even though my appointment wasn't in the book.

Good haircut but still crying over lost hair. I agreed to four inches off but in measuring and referencing before pictures it was much closer to eight. First time this has ever happened to me and lesson learned - wear contacts instead of glasses and don’t ever let someone start cutting in the back! Made it home and my three year old wisely told me it would grow back. Nuts!
