Mrs. Charmaine is the BEST. She's fast and gives you whatever style you want, she has growing hands(makes your hair grow) and reasonable prices. I've been coming to her for over a years. Come try her and you would not be disappointed, you will be happy that you did.

Charmaine is the BEST dred stylist ever. No one like her. I have been under her hair care over 10 years. Her assistant Camille also great! I cut mine and started over under Charmaine's care. My second dred set. Prices, care, styles, treatment, and more.

Never in my life have I seen a business operate like this salon. Absolutely terrible! No appointments. Disorganized. Very disappointing. The first time I came here, it was on a weekday, and they weren't as busy. I arrived at 9am, had my hair washed around 1045am...and was finished around 4pm. Left with my hair neat, but with a massive headache. Keep in mind this was on a relatively slow day for this salon. There are only two stylists working here. One mainly washes clients’ hair and the other (the owner) retwists and styles locs. They work very quickly. However, if it gets busy, or if the owner has not arrived yet (she usually comes later in the morning), the first woman will play ping-pong between washing and retwisting the hair of different clients. This is also the case if someone comes in for starter locs. The entire flow of things gets ruined, adding up to two hours to your wait, or even more. I thought things would be better the second time around. Shame on me. The second time I came here, the salon was not even open. The stylist strolled in 12 minutes late and did not even apologize. She opens the door, lets everyone in, and asks: "Who’s first?" Excuse me? That is when I learned that they accept clients based on arrival to the parking lot. Each client counts how many cars come before them, not who walks into the salon door first. Not as in civilized, logical businesses which sort clients based on their arrival to the salon itself. As a result, this causes a lot of arguing, pettiness, and lies, which is extremely off-putting. I guess it’s "C & D Car Wash" instead of "C & D Unisex Salon." Styling is not the full package—reception and organization are also important factors. You can be the best hair stylist in the world, but if your structure is trash, then you are failing as a business!

The lady is racist. She didn’t want to do my hair because i’m not black. She refused! Very unprofessional. she also sells FAKE NAMEBRAND and lies to people and says its real! I will be seeking legal representation for this cery rude unprofessional con artist! Also one of her male clients touched my butt when I was there. She laughed. Very unsafe and unprofessional. ZERO STARS!

The lady always a leave while doing my hair or other people’s hair. Not professional at all! I guess that’s the price you pay when you’re being cheap.
