While I wished I could give this salon 4 stars, I reluctantly and sadly am giving it 3. I love the hairdresser’s personality. I think she’s an absolute sweetie but I did not get the cut that I want. Truth to be told, how I feel after getting my haircut is more like 2 stars 🙁 I pointed to where I wanted it cut and got confused when she put my hair forward and I noticed she had cut more than I had asked. I had hoped that this was just part of her layering skills and I had longer hair behind my back. But alas no. I showed her reference pictures of how I wanted the layers to be but also pointed to where I wanted my hair length to be and also asked for curtain bangs. The layers looked very odd on my wavy hair. I would never have wanted my hair this short and my confidence is shot. It is tough for me to write this review because I do think she’s sweet but I don’t think she’s the hairdresser for me. Halfway through the cut, I questioned if she understood what I was asking for as her English is basic. But I will say she’s great for a straightforward cut and straightforward prices. At the very least she did cut my dead ends but my dead ends did not extend as high as she had cut. I think if your hair is on the wavy or curly side, it may not be the best fit. If your hair is straightforward definitely go here! If it isn’t, find a place that is catered to your texture.

Affordable simple haircut!!! Very nice hairdresser/owner

If you want a Korean style haircut, this is the place to go if you are in the neighborhood. It is a bit pricey compare to the flushing hair salons, but the price is about average in the area. When you walk in the place looks run down, but if you don’t mind the appearance it is a pretty decent place. The lady that did my hair knows enough English to communicate with me. I would definitely come back again if I am in the area.

Han is very talented at cutting and styling my hair. She is now my favorite hairdresser in the neighborhood. Very kind and sweet woman. I went in recently because I was having a bad hair day. Han made me look so much better! Here’s a before and after shot

My go-to place for cutting my hair in the neighborhood ! The stylist is so sweet and always understands what I want. Her prices are also cheaper compared to the other salons in the area (she charges me 35 usually).

I stumbled upon this hair salon walking past Starbucks and made a mental note to try it next time as I was in the search for a new barber after my current barber butchered my hair twice. Later noticing my hair fully covering my ears, sticking out from the side, and itching on the back of my neck, I called in advance and scheduled an appointment for 7pm on the same day. We spoke in Korean (the barber prefers Korean) so I cannot comment on her English speaking abilities, but she most likely could speak some english given her business is in a multiracial neighborhood and her sign is in English. The barber greeted me sincerely as I walked in 10 mins. late and she asked me to sit down right away. Apparently she was waiting just for me, her last appointment of the day which made me feel quite special. + stars. As I observed the surroundings, there was a cute little white dog wearing a green winter jacket, a grandma I believe is the mother of the barber, and a tv showing a Korean drama at a loud volume, probably to accommodate for the grandma's ears. The dog was cute and added flavor to the barber shop. The barber asked me which style I wanted, and I informed her to trim slightly and keep the length the way it is. She did just that. She cut with precision using 2 scissors and a trimmer, and finished in roughly 15 mins. The total price was $20, but I gave her $25 because she did a fantastic job. I was completely satisfied and will come again. Perhaps I'll ask her dye my hair next time- sky blue.

Quick and good haircut. There was no line when I dropped in on a weekday afternoon. I'm very happy with my new short hair and will come again.
