Everything about SHi Salon is pure elegance. But what I love the most is the transformation. Owner, Marie, has satisfied literally every hairstyle I've had from a short pixie cut to long blonde hair and now - a natural look - and to see how long my hair will grow ... just a hair goal of mine. With her expertise in healthy hair growth, yes, she's a master, but it's bigger than that. When I visit SHi Salon, it hits my soul. She has built a relationship with my hair and teaches me how to style my hair when I get home because transparency moment: I do NOT know how to style my hair outside of a ponytail and bun. From the products she uses and styling accessories, I always feel super empowered to try the styles she taught me. I'm so grateful for her. Parking is available on and off the street and when you arrive - knock. I highly recommend Marie! If you're looking for a stylist to grow with - she's the one for you! She showcased her amazingness all over the world - Fashion Week to Magazine covers - Marie is heaven sent!

I love me a great black salon who knows our hair. There was just a few mishaps, like she started cutting my hair for my bangs after knowing how I wanted my bangs (which wasn’t what I asked for) and then barely gave me the style I wanted. The only stars I give is for the press out cause it was definitely straightened. Just wish she cared more about what her customers ask and come there for because the price didn’t quite match the outcome.

My hairstylist Yana Smith was excellent I felt at home when I walked in the shop the hospitality was great being surrounded by beautiful black women. I was very happy with my results.

I have been a customer of Marie's for over 12 years and she is awesome. I love the fact that even though I believe she is the best she continues to educate herself and truly loves hair care. Shi Salon is the best salon in the St. Louis area. Owner Marie Simone has been my hair stylist since the 90s , and I'm still always happy with her service.
