Alysha is AMAZING. I came in looking like I had just gotten a straight-up bowl cut from a barber 😅 and she completely fixed it. Not only did she clean it up perfectly, but she styled it so well it looked better than I even expected. The salon itself is beautiful—super clean, modern, and welcoming. Overall an awesome experience, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend Alysha!

Just had my hair done by Rizzo. I absolutely love it. I don't usually do anything with my hair except keep it long and keeping it up. I felt like I needed a major change and Rizzo really did that. Im a little nervous at salons when it comes to my hair but I will definitely be back. She did an excellent job at giving me what I wanted, shes very calm and inviting. She also made sure to be honest on what it might look like styled an unstyled. I asked her why she wanted to be a hairstylist and she said, "I like making people feel good about themselves". Thats exactly what she did for me today. If you want someone who isnt afraid to go outside the box, who will bring on the layers and the colors you want, and someone who will make you feel good, Rizzo is your stylist. Thank you so much

I started cutting my own hair since 2019 after many bad salon experiences but decided to try a salon for the first time in years. I found Rizzo on Instagram who works at hour rose salon as an alt hairstylist and decided to get my hair cut there. The first few things I noticed was that the place was aesthetically pleasing, clean, but not very diverse in staff and customers so I felt a bit uncomfortable as the only Asian person there at the time. Rizzo did a great job cutting my hair and made me feel much more comfortable. I was very happy with my haircut and I was excited that I finally found a hairstylist that could style/cut my hair right. A few months pass by and I decided I wanted to get chunky highlights done before my trip so I booked for a consultation with Rizzo again and drove 30 mins for a 15 minute consultation. For context my hair has been box dyed and I asked before hand if she would like me to book a color correction appointment or whatever will get it out so we can continue with the highlights. Rizzo said it wasn’t necessary and told me it would be hard but doable, she asked to take two chunks of my hair as a sample/test a strip with bleach and I agreed. Rizzo told me that she would then contact me, send me pictures and discuss the next steps but that never happened. I was very willing to pay the price of everything. I’m not sure if there was a miscommunication but I didn’t feel like I should reach out first because my thoughts were, maybe she didn’t know how to do hair as dark as mine? Or was too busy and forgot? Or didn’t want to do it because it would be difficult/time consuming? I was just very confused because she has done hair that is dark, just maybe not as intense as my hair? Maybe she couldn’t do chunky highlights on dark hair? Idk, I’m young, don’t really know what to do in these type of situations, and have never had this happen with any type of beauty services. Going into this salon after years of doing my own hair was already way out of my comfort zone, so kinda being ghosted was a bit upsetting and confusing. Not to mention Rizzo posted on her story the day after our consultation about how different porosity will not always give you the same color as you may want which I totally understand because we discussed it and knew that my hair wouldn’t be able to reach the brown I wanted (which I was totally okay with). So it kinda just seemed like a slap in my face. I’ll most likely just go back to doing my own hair again because It is hard to find people who can do Asian hair and this kinda just proves my point unless I’m really just overthinking it. I got my hopes up and that’s totally my fault but don’t let my sorta bad experience stop you guys from going here. I’m sure this place/other staff are great, maybe just not the right fit for me! Overall staff seem to be nice, aesthetically pleasing, and clean.

Katie did my hair a few weeks ago and I am truly impressed. Her precision and attention to detail is unmatched. She took her time to make sure the blonde was lifting exactly to where she wanted it to be to fit what I wanted. I will definitely be returning to see her 💕

I had a wonderful haircut with Brandy!!! I booked last minute and she spent extra time too with trimming, layering, and texturizing my long and very thick hair. Will 100% be going back and I highly recommend!!! ☺️☺️

I saw Sky this past week for a HUGE hair transformation and I could not possibly be any happier with how it turned out. She perfectly replicated my vision. I did not take a normal before picture, but blonde is before obviously. She cut and colored my hair and put in extensions. I mean I think the pictures speak for themselves, but I would absolutely 10000% recommend Sky to anyone looking for a new hair dresser. She’s amazing.
