Paula is amazing. I'm old school and I like to converse with my hair professional. Paula took the time, communicated what she was doing and made me feel like I had been coming to the shop for years. (It was the first time and I am from out of state). It felt like I was Norm in the TV show cheers. Paula asked my name, about what I do, interests and life. This is a very friendly place that does impeccable work and is the epitome of professional, friendly and skilled. Take it from an out of towner....if you want to feel like you matter (because to them, you do) go to Hair World. Thank you Paula...love the hair and beard. You are awesome!

Stopped by for a second visit today and was not disappointed. I was fortunate enough to have Paula behind the scissors again. It was effortless. I dozed momentarily a couple times. I was at ease. If you miss real barber shops and consummate professionals next to the barber chair, they deserve your business, St. Charles. Joey S.

Best barber shop in St Charles area.. Trust me you will not find anyone in the area that has more experience than this place.. Especially Paula and Dennis Dennis cut my hair when I was a kid 45 years ago and Paula could do it with her eyes closed walking backwards while she was sleeping.. And still do your hair better than it's done the last 50 times

Paula is the best! Local barber doing what they do best, and no other frills. You won’t be rushed in and out like the chains do. They’ve been my choice since I found them in 2016.

I could easily cut my own hair as I keep it very short. As fate and my family genes would have it, I've been going bald for some years now, yet I still show up almost religiously every 2 weeks to get my hair cut here. Why you ask? Not only do you get a great haircut, but you feel like you're a part of their family. I think this kind of treatment is lost in most businesses these days. I take my kids here as well and now my wife won't let me take them anywhere else! The point is if you're reading this and have never been there, you'll be in for a treat and a great haircut experience! If you're reading this and have already been there, I'm sorry that I made the lines a little longer by letting our secret out...🤷‍♂️

Been going there since I was 10 years old. Went in today, was told there was 1 ahead of me. Waited patiently for two people to get their hair cut before me, didn't say a word. Stood up after the second, was told I still had 1 ahead. When does 1 ahead turn into 3 ahead of me? Literally watched them come in after me and get serviced before me. Been a loyal customer for a long time, but that's it. Won't be back.

No appointments needed. Super friendly staff. Not requiring masks of patrons. It was great! Reasonable price. And the place has been here for 50 years. Screw sports clips and great clips! Love the haircut.
