Lauren Ashlei Hair Bar LLC

Honestly, my experience with Lauren Ashlei Hair was a letdown. She has a long list of strict rules for clients…don’t be late, no last-minute changes, no calls…but she doesn’t seem to follow them herself. She canceled and rescheduled on me multiple times with barely any notice, which made it really hard to plan around her. On top of that, she’s super hard to get in touch with. Calls and messages are usually ignored, which is frustrating when you’re trying to get clarity on anything. It felt like she expected perfection from her clients but didn’t offer the same level of professionalism in return. Just didn’t sit right with me, so I won’t be booking again.

I’ve been going to this stylist for a while, but unfortunately I could never recommend her. She is extremely unprofessional and consistently late to her own appointments, despite holding clients to strict punctuality standards. She was mad at me once for being late. I apologized to her but that was clearly not good enough because she had an attitude the rest of the appointment, and repeatedly kept bringing it up multiple appointments later, even though it was just a one time incident. Yet she continually shows up late herself without offering any discount or acknowledgment, and often brings a negative attitude into the appointment. During my last visit, she left my tracks showing even after I told her my hair needed to look perfect for an important event. She is very controlling about her many rules and strict client standards, despite not following them herself, and makes clients feel like they will be fired if they don’t follow every single thing exactly as she does even though I am a paying customers. She is frequently on her phone, taking calls and being loud while working on your hair, which adds to the unprofessional environment. Things may start off professionally, but ultimately, her repeated lateness, attitude, and lack of respect for clients’ time and needs reveal her to be just another unprofessional hairdresser.

I have been coming to Lauren for going on 6 years now. I found her ad on Facebook while looking for a new stylist because mine had relocated and she has been stuck with me since.I will not find better service or quality in hair anywhere else. Since my first time coming to her shop she was and always is friendly and professional. She is very time efficient and knowledgeable about her products and services. She never disappoints. The space is very clean and neat and she also provides privacy during appointment times.

Lauren is the absolute best! I have been going to her for over 10 years and Im never disappointed. I never have to wait past my appointment time, my hair always exceeds my expectations and her personality is just the icing on the cake.

Lauren is awesome! She has been doing my hair for 3 years; from silk wraps to 360 frontals we have done it all. She has grown my natural hair so much and always remembers the way I like my hair every time. She is awesome and if you’re looking for a stylist who takes pride in her work, you should definitely give her a call.
