Sam is hands down the most amazing stylist I have ever been to. She is seriously the BEST when it comes to blonde and always makes my hair look absolutely perfect. I have been going to her ever since I moved to Utah and I would never trust anyone else with my hair. Everyone at The Hive Salon is so kind and welcoming but Sam truly makes the entire experience next level. She listens, gives honest advice and somehow always exceeds my expectations. I always leave feeling confident, refreshed and obsessed with my hair. If you are looking for a stylist who is talented, professional and genuinely cares about her clients, Sam is your girl. She is truly amazing and I cannot recommend her enough!🤍

I’ve been coming to Hive Salon since the beginning and have been seeing Haylee even before she started her own salon. It truly is the best salon around — such a fun, welcoming vibe with the sweetest stylists who genuinely care about making sure you love your hair. They always take the time to listen and make sure they fully understand what you want so you leave feeling confident and happy. Plus, getting a drink from Swig while you’re getting your hair done is definitely a bonus! I always leave feeling refreshed, happy, and obsessed with my hair. Highly recommend — you won’t regret coming here.

I can't recommend Hayley enough. As a stylist myself, I can say with some unofficial authority that her techniques are flawless. I left feeling like a million bucks, my hair's health and integrity intact, and she's officially labeled my ride or die. The reviews are true. She's the real deal.

This was my first time at this salon and Gracen did my hair. Before scheduling an appointment with her, I sent her a message via dm on Instagram with a photo of my current hair, and then an inspo picture. To which she replied "I would be happy to do it". So when I got there I explained to her that I wanted my hair to be lighter. I also explained to her that I wear my hair up most of the time, so I wanted it to be lighter around my hairline. I also told her I had a few areas with warm tones from a previous hair procedure. After I told her everything, she seemed to be okay with moving forward and understood my wants. She never said what could or could not work with my hair, or if it was compromised, she just got straight into doing my hair. I even showed her AGAIN another inspo photo of what I wanted. I also mentioned I didn’t like the look of a chunky money piece, and that I wanted something more casual and natural. When she finished with my hair, to my disappointment, she did the complete OPPOSITE of what I had asked and showed her. She gave me a chunky money piece and even darker roots, covering the blonde I had before. When I reached out to her, explaining I wasn’t content with the result of my hair, she THEN told me my hair was too compromised and I would have to come in for more sessions to get my hair to the level of blonde I wanted it to be, and she told me this after the appointment rather than before. She misunderstood me and made it seem like I only wanted to focus on the warm tones in my hair so she gave me low lights to cover them, when all I wanted was to be blonder. I feel like instead of being honest with me, she did it the way that would benefit her company and the appointment rather than being honest with me and telling me that I couldn’t reach the level of blonde I wanted in this session. The only options that she gave me after one day of messaging back and forth was to either smudge down the money piece, or take me all the way back to dark when my hair was already light. She also told me that if I wanted her to take me to blonde, that would be a different fee on top of that. I felt like she was very dishonest with me from the start and it never seemed like she wanted to take responsibility for her mistake. Now I will have to find another stylist to fix it for me. This is my worst hair experience yet! So disappointing!!

Had a wonderful time at this hair salon! The stylist was friendly, experienced, and really paid attention to what I wanted. My haircut and styling turned out fantastic and easy to manage. The salon is clean, comfortable, and well-organized. I’m extremely happy with the results and will return soon!

Marissa has been my hair stylist for almost two years now and I can’t stress enough how amazing she is! She truly listens to me and understands what I’m asking for even when I don’t hahah She truly works her magic every time and when I move away, I’ll must come back just for her ♥️ she’s an artist ! I love this salon! I have been getting highlights by Gracen for a couple years now & she is amazing at what she does. I love how my hair grows out every time I go to her. The salon is adorable & everyone is so friendly there. Best one I’ve been to for sure!
