Worst barber ever. Could not cut hair for his life. Music was loud. Has a dog that is all full of hair. Kept complaining that my hair was thick. When I tried to look in the mirror while he was cutting he would cover the mirror up. At the end took my cape off and said I look awesome and that I owed him 35 dollars. Worst experience ever.

After moving to Iowa without a barber while looking around down in the city before my show and just happened to find the place. Came in today for my first appointment and even after his break in last night Clyde was able to give me an amazing Taper Fade even with tools that the intruder damaged. Top it off he's a fun guy! Definitely going back to him from now on!

I went there for a walk in, hoping they took it, and unfortunately the man that works there said he was completely booked and scheduled me for 11:00 AM the next day, which was a Sunday. I arrived the next day at around 10:50 AM to discover that the door to the Frances building was locked, and the lights were off. I tried to contact the barber via phone call a couple times, then he texted me saying "please text me". So I texted him that I was scheduled for 11:00 that day, and he didn't respond. He never responded, and I was forced to schedule somewhere else, for the next day. I am confused because he specifically said that he was open on Sundays. I would understand if he had an emergency, but he texted me first, and just didn't respond at all.

the building itself is showing its age different floors I noticed seem to be better upkeep than others not sure why cuz I hadn't been in there so many years but all I got to say is two words about this place fix elevator. I have never in my life dealt with a slower elevator all the while dealing with back pain I was literally at my Wit's End I couldn't stand much longer had to go sit on the steps made it to another floor hit the button for the elevator stud for another 5 minutes that's it had to go sit down back hurt I just couldn't do the 6 flights of stairs all in one shot with my lower back pain it took 25 minutes finally to get downstairs and out then I seen recently in the newspaper article there elevators we're down. LOL hell they were down a month-and-a-half ago when I was there

I have been looking all over for a place that has friendly service and a great haircut for a while now, and I have found it. Great haircut, and conversation the whole time. And when he was done and I realized they didnt take credit cards, he let me run down the street to the atm with no problem! Honestly the best place I have ever been.

This place isn't all that... I came here around 1pm and the guy smelled like alcohol , I asked for a fade and when he was " supposedly done " I pointed out the flaws. Not only should a haircut be longer then 6mins it was poorly done. The sign says 15$ haircut not 20$ . And every REAL barber uses a razor to clean up the edges not the machine 😪 I'm from New York where they do the best cuts . Not this raggedy ass store that looks ghetto and isn't even clean. Ooh and let me mention if you are gay, bi, etc don't come here . Check out what he posted about gays on his facebook
