Gladis did an incredible job. From the moment you walk into the Salon they greet you with great smiles! I loved my haircut and will be coming back

This was my first professional haircut since moving to Arizona two and a half years ago. I am half African American, and I have very curly, thick hair. It can be difficult to find someone who understands my hair texture along with my hair goals enough to help me move toward those goals. Gladis at BBV salon was excellent with my hair. I felt like she really listened to what I wanted out of my hair cut and what I wanted to work toward with my hair maintenance. She also has a lot of experience with similar hair textures as well as even coarser, thicker curls and coils. She did a phenomenal job with my hair. I have spent some time with it straightened and now curly after a wash. My hair looks even and healthy both straight and in my natural curls! Plus she so very nicely blew out my hair and styled it. I left feeling amazing and beautiful! Thank you, Gladis! I’m excited to come back to BBV!

Kayla did my hair on a work trip and it was hands down the best blow out I’ve ever gotten! Super impressed with the results. She was also incredibly sweet and hospitable. I couldn’t have been more comfortable and taken care of. Definitely recommend to anyone needing a salon! Worth every penny!

Five star from the moment I walked through the door. The front desk staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. This upscale salon is beautifully appointed. Even the shampoo stations are extremely comfortable. The lighting is so complimentary that looking at myself in a mirror for a couple of hours is not a horror show. I have had cut and color services from Terry who is very experienced and did an especially beautiful job on highlighting my hair. On the first visit she introduced me to Veronica who is a delightfully outgoing and caring salon owner. Due to scheduling issues I recently went to Stephan for a haircut and his partner Kathy for color services. What an extraordinary team! I have short hair and told Stephan I wanted a sassier look. He had me clarify what that meant to me, I shared some photos and we agreed on a look and he had me keep that photo out for him to refer to while he worked his magic. I am so impressed to find a stylist skilled with a razor. Before he cut my hair Kathy provided color and discussed some possible ideas for my highlights in the future. She obviously is a color specialist!! The bonus is the wonderful scalp massage during shampooing from their assistant. I just booked ahead for my next seven services! I just found my team!

I had a pleasant experience at BBV. Betsy, my stylist, listened, offered suggestions, gave me her undivided attention and did not rush. The front desk went out of their way to make me feel welcome on my first visit. Intimate, boutique salon in Old Town.

Great Environment and A+ Service. This particular salon goes above and beyond with a coffee tea station and front desk staff that was impressive. I recently left a corporate salon appointment down the street (Arizona Hair Co) when they wanted me to sign away their responsibilities to their paid service with no care about how the service actually goes, just not being sued and collecting money. Not here I felt like my needs were in good hands and not to worry and walk out. Kayla did an excellent job with my hair and I will be back! :))

I want to start by saying I’m so sorry for leaving this review so late, life got busy and I do apologize. The overall experience as a first time customer was 10/10. They immediately set a positive tone with welcoming demeanor by the front desk staff amongst other awesome things. I’ve struggled for years trying to find a consistent place/person to cut my hair. I have really thick hair that grows rather quickly. I’ve had more negative experiences than positive ones when trying to find someone who would know how to work with my type of hair. I was going years growing my hair out, past my shoulders, just to avoid another potential hair crisis. "But it grows back" blah blah, a persons hair can make or break the way they view themselves and this salon speaks VOLUMES (no pun intended) when it comes to giving their clients EXACTLY what they’re looking for. End of story. It’s been a couple of months since my cut, but I’m still thinking about what a great job Kayla did. She honestly has the magic touch. I walked out of there feeling more confident and relaxed than I had in a long time. Since my visit, life has really only gone up for me and for that I’m super grateful. Beyond just the talent, she has such amazing energy and the conversation was effortless. All in all, Kayla, you have some crazy skills and talent. I give you huge props, don’t ever stop being you. Thanks so much BBV for an amazing, first experience.
