Really great experience. Looked around last minute and they fit me in for an event up-do. Turned out very close to the original example photo and it only took an hour to complete. The stylists were very nice and the shop is clean and comfortable.

It’s a must try! Janice is fabulous! My hair was so damaged, dry, and dull. She brought it back to life. Love my hair now. 😁 Absolutely amazing service. Everyone is very personable and outgoing; The salon as a whole creates a family friendly atmosphere that you won’t want to leave once you’re done. I also have the uttermost faith in anyone there, especially with Janice, she made me look the best I can. 😁. Also wanted to add she does the BEST eyebrow ever 😁😁😁🙌 Thank you Janice💕

Such a bad experience.. they didn’t even bother to do my hair.. all they did was make fun of me on how my hair looked said it would take 9 hours to actually do my hair all because I used boxed hair dye. Not friendly at all don’t go here !!!

My mom always gets her hair colored, cut and styled here and her hair always looks phenomenal. I recently got my hair styled for my sister's wedding and I received a ton of compliments. Best hair salon in Schenectady. No need to go anywhere else!

I went for a wash and trim. I honestly didn't think of ethnicity when I googled a salon and when this popped up and I saw the reviews I was excited. I normally go to a domican or African American salon so to me a salon is a salon. Well when I walked in Ms. Janice was very nice and her daughter as well. They had a woman wash my hair and the way she acted was ridiculous..she was mad about something and it was all in her face. She hardly washed my scalp, acted like she did not want to touch my hair. Never spoke once to me, not a hi or have a good day or thanks for coming. I did come in with my hair straight but as a black woman once it gets wet it curls fast. She started ripping my hair with a hard brush to stop it from curling up. Clearly there is a culture neglect in their service. Once she was done washing my hair she put mouse in my hair I told her no bc it has alcohol and it will stiffen and dry my hair. She put it in anyway as if she didn't hear me, then she went back to trying to brush my hair with the same brush to " detangle" my hair and I checked her. It's curly and if you comb it it separates. Then the daughter tried to say it can't separate as if she knew my hair. So once she got to blowing it the mad lady left it partially wet in the middle and only flat ironed the ends . Ms Janice trimmed it for me as that was the real reason I came bc I needed to braid my hair from a concert. I paid but did not tip bc the mad ladies attitude was not worth it and I always tip. I went home a dried my own hair properly. I would say either they are not used to black people's hair in a mainly black city as Schenectady NY, then they should try bc it's really sad the way I was treated. But I paid and was polite as expected. If you are black with 4c curly hair, don't go here. Stay with the domicians bc her clients are all Indian and it seems that is what is preferred, which is ok bc everyone has to have a place to call their own but if you get a customer different then don't be rude. That's all I'm saying.

This place is amazing every worker is amazing they do hair sooo good the place is sooo clean just loveeee it !!!
