Kuna's Hair Studio

Kuna is the best. She started cutting my hair when she still worked at Supercuts, and I have been following her since. I live in Chicago now, but If I am ever in the area I make sure to make an appointment.

Kuna did such a phenomenal job cutting and styling my hair and highlighting . Definitely worth every penny. Not only does she have over 7 plus years of experience but she has an amazing, fun personality! Very professional and amazing results Thank you so much love 💕

Since I found Kuna, I haven't been able to go anywhere else! She's efficient and does a great job every time! Edit: I didn't realize that now it's been 10 years of going to Kuna. She has been the only consistent hairstylist in my life. Kuna helps me get a hairstyle that works for my life. She asks me what I want, tells me how much she thinks she would need to cut, and recommends what she thinks will work for me. I got highlights last year with Kuna, and they still look exactly the way I want them to. She's amazing!

I am a first time client and will definitely come back! Kuna is very warm and friendly to her clients. She’s very good in what she do — oh well 22 years of experience! She gives advice and listens to what her clients wanted to achieve with their hair. I so love my haircut and color. Glad I found her humble little studio!

I am a 24 y/o male first time customer and had my hair cut at Kuna’s. I am disappointed in my haircut. The haircut was not close to the photos I showed her and I requested for a middle part with a low taper. At the end of my haircut, I had to tell her how to cut my hair or the middle part would’ve been too long at the front compared to the back. She cut my sides of the middle part too short that my thick asian hair stick straight out without a lot of product holding it. I barely write reviews but I had to give any future male customers a heads up.

I don't trust designers with a dry and fixed style. I can judge a designer's skill based on how my style looks 2-3 weeks after the haircut. Kuna is not exceptionally skilled. My hair still looks messy and unruly. Most importantly, after explaining the style I want, I received a response like, 'I don't like cutting hair that way.' I am looking for a hairdresser who respects my opinions.
