I have been a client of Amy’s for over 20 years and have referred her to many of my friends who agree she is fantastic at her craft. I'm a professional violinist who performs in public so having great hair is also very important to my work! Not only is she masterful with hair coloring, but understands and knows how to bring my natural curls to life with her magical hair cutting skills. I receive compliments nearly every day on my hair and it’s all a tribute to her continued fantastic cuts and coloring over the years. My husband who has curly hair as well goes to Amy and is also a big fan! Additionally, Amy is a great communicator and wants to make sure the client is happy with the results. Not afraid of criticism and receptive to your input, she gives her honest opinions if something suggested might not flatter or work with your hair type. I love that she is so passionate about her work and truly cares about her clients. The salon itself is small but well appointed and beautifully decorated. Coffee and water always on hand. Compared to bigger salons, her rates are very reasonable! Go to Hotheadz! You will receive excellent care and service in her hands!

Girls with Curls! I would absolutely recommend this Salon. I feel so confident and comfortable when I leave. I especially recommend the salon for people with naturally curly hair. Amy is Especially good with curly hair. I am so lucky to have found this salon. You can’t go wrong with either hairstylist here. They are so nice and always offer hot tea or coffee or water.

Amy is a wonderful hairstylist that really listens to what you want done to your hair and makes great suggestions if you’re not sure. Fun atmosphere and great vibes. The salon is very welcoming!! Highly recommend 😊👍

Amy is great at maintaining my very curly hair! I’ve come here so long she now also takes care of my grays that creep through. She also cuts my husband and daughters’ hair! 10/10
