Salon Patine

The salon and front desk staff were super nice, and I really appreciated being squeezed in for a last minute appointment. However, I was disappointed with my experience with my stylist. While I understand it was an evening appointment after what may have been a long day, the service felt notably unfriendly and impatient. Whenever I asked for adjustments, my stylist seemed visibly annoyed, which made me feel like I needed to apologize for speaking up. This created such an uncomfortable atmosphere that I ultimately stopped asking for changes, even though I wasn't happy with the result. Towards the end of my appointment I just wanted to get out of the chair rather than continue communicating about what I wanted. I do want to acknowledge that my stylist offered helpful advice about styling my hair naturally and was willing to make the adjustments I requested. I could have been clearer about my expectations from the start, so this wasn't a refusal of service. It was more about the negative energy that made it difficult to have a collaborative experience. I left unsatisfied with my haircut, which is unfortunate because the salon itself seems lovely. I hope this feedback is helpful for future appointments.

I tried doing my hair at home and it went really wrong — it lifted way too much and looked nothing like my natural color. I went into Salon Patine feeling stressed, and Emilee totally came to the rescue. She knew exactly what to do and brought my natural color back so beautifully. I walked out feeling like myself again. So grateful for her skill and calm energy!

This salon runs on a high-volume setup, with overlapping appointments and services moving quickly to keep prices lower. While there are capable stylists here, the overall experience feels inconsistent in a way that seems tied more to how the salon is run than to individual artists. From a client perspective, there doesn’t appear to be a clear standard guiding the experience from visit to visit. The salon’s social media suggests a more polished experience than what you sometimes get in the chair, and overall it doesn’t feel quite the same as it once did.

I’ve been coming to Andrea for over two years and cannot say enough good things about her. She always understands what I want and even helped me undo a terrible dye job I had gotten at a different salon. We always have great banter and I leave feeling gorgeous and well taken care of! Her prices are super reasonable too. I love this salon and Andrea!!

I just had my hair cut with Ceci, and the experience was amazing! She listened to what I was looking for, and she did a great job with my hair. They were quick and on time. I did not feel rushed. The ladies at the front desk were helpful and friendly too.

Highly recommend this salon, especially for those with wavy to curly hair. I was struggling to find a good stylist for my daughter with that hair type. I got recommended Salon Patine for our hair care needs. The receptionist was very patient and sweet. She had recommended Andrea as our stylist. Andrea did an amazing job with my daughter’s hair. Helping define her natural waves and instructing me on how to do this from home. I now feel well informed on proper hair care and my daughter is inlove with the look.

Operates somewhat like a factory or assembly line. Very impersonal and often they ran out of time to dry my hair, and would negotiate with a free conditioning treatment next appt. The salon has changed into this in the past few years. It was better 5 years ago. I chose to change salons. Very happy with that decision.
