Not what I had asked for! I have been here a few times and I never got a bad haircut until today. I didn’t noticed that the hairdresser cut one strand too short. No wonder why he never showed me that back of how the hair looked like.

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in for a perm ONLY expecting to pay $350 max, including tip and tax. And asked for very loose big curls. They even showed me a picture of what they could provide, and we agreed very loose curls. Then they told me the price is $480. We argued back and forth about the price and this is misleading from what they posted online. They kept insisting I get a haircut as well. When I said no, they reduced the price to $420. I could tell this is an arbitrary price, which they said was because I have long hair and the price online is an old price. As you can see I have very tight curls and the quality I could have gotten from a $40 box from Sally Hansen and permed by my mom. If you go here you'll be very very sorry. They probably would say if I had gotten a haircut would have helped but I assure you, from the many many perms I have gotten in my life it would have only made the curls even tighter. They're a bunch of scammers. I reported them to the BBB. I hope they get served a complaint letter.

Horrible experience. Got assigned Alex and told him i want to shorten sides. I didn't say get me a razor thin fade. I insist on just cut it short but dont show skin. The guy still gave me the shortest possible fade and called it good looking. When i got home i saw the cut area started to bleed... Im gonna hope that i dont need to see the doctor....

JC gave my 17-year-old a truly perfect cut. His hair can be tricky because it’s slightly wavy and has unexpected body. But the results were amazing. The salon is modern and clean, and the owner’s advice on stylists was spot on. Scheduling via Yelp was super easy. Men’s cuts are $45 cash, $47 credit. There’s a cute cafe next door if you arrive early.

One of the best Hair salons in the bay. I have gone here twice now and loved my haircut both times. The best part is during hair wash they give you a head, neck and shoulder massage

I loved my experience here. I read some reviews and was nervous going into my appointment, but I’m glad I still went through with it. While some reviews said there is a language barrier and the price is scammy, i noticed they still work extra to make sure they understand what you want and tell you the cost before they start the services. They were very attentive and made sure all their clients are comfortable and are happy with the progress being made on their hair. I think it’s common sense that you’re hair is never going to look exactly like your inspo picture, but It seems the one star reviews for this place are not too common as they had plenty happy clients when I came in. I just wanted to share my positive experience. Manny did an amazing job on my hair, received so many complaints already. The only complaint I have is the PARKING SUCKS. Definitely show up 15-20 min early if it’s your first time as parking is limited and you might have to park far unless you want your car towed and pay extra $400.

Very satisfied with my visit at Sunesy Hair Design. Thank you to Manny for doing such an amazing job of perming and cutting my hair to my desired style. Amazing experience! I’ll definitely be returning in the future!
