After searching for a weekend-friendly option, I stumbled upon this gem, and I'm so glad I did! Paolo, the stylist, is incredibly kind and welcoming. She gave me a fantastic service, leaving my hair feeling fresh, bouncy, and totally revived after a wash and blow-dry. The price is very reasonable, and it’s definitely worth it if you're looking for a little pampering without the hassle of doing it yourself. Just a tip—don't compare prices with what you'd pay back home; remember, you're in the USA! This place is a great choice, and Paolo will make your day better, guaranteed. Highly recommend it for anyone feeling lazy or in need of a little self-care.

As a San Francisco native who hates driving, I actually make an exception to drive all the way down to San Mateo for Roy's service on a regular basis. Exceptions are made for exceptional cases and this is one such case. Roy has been taking very good care of me and the friends whom I referred. He studies your hair + head shape meticulously and work with you to do what's the best for your individual needs and situations. Especially now, with the pandemic, attention to details, hygiene in particular, is a must! Roy carefully disinfects his tools between customers and this really buys my confidence in him despite what's going on out there on the street.

I’m in my mid 30s, I’ve lived in the bay area for 12 years, and over the years I’ve had my hair cut by many hair stylists. I’ve been going to Roy for the last 2-3 years, and he’s really the best. He’s very experienced, he has a very pleasant personality, and he has a great sense of style. He’ll know how to make you look your best and won’t try to sell you any hair products you don’t need. He takes great pride in his craft and it shows. He loves traveling and cycling if you’re looking to share your latest adventures. Or, if you’re in a quiet mood, he’ll give you space to just relax. I don’t write many reviews, but I highly recommend Roy.
