Edwin is an awesome guy and a great barber. Gave me a quick and clean cut just how I wanted. Highly recommend.

I tried Crown Barbershop when I first moved to SLO this February and I was more than happy with the hair cut I got. I went back today and I once again got high quality work done. I normally get fades and I will definitely continue to come back here because of how well the job gets done. Edwin always makes you feel welcomed and listens to what you. He even made some suggestions that I found very helpful. He precise, detailed, and personable. Would definitely recommend if you need a hair Cut!

I have been going to Crown Barbershop for last two years. Very professional, friendly barber who wants to make sure the customer is comfortable and likes their cut. Ed has been cutting my hair for nearly two years, and there’s a reason I keep coming back. He consistently delivers a great haircut, but what really sets him apart is the authentic and personal experience he provides. Ed genuinely cares about his clients and isn’t afraid to connect on a deeper level—our appointments often feel like friendly therapy sessions, in the best possible way. I always look forward to my visits and recommend him to friends every chance I get. I also bring my son to Ed, and he does an outstanding job with his haircuts too. Just top-notch all around!

After five barbers in the last 2 years I finally found one that cuts my hair right, doesn't reschedule me, doesn't have terrible music blasting while he's cutting my hair. And he's not texting on his phone while he's cutting my hair either. He's focused on making me look good. Five stars.

Edwin does an amazing job of cutting my 4 yo’s hair! He is very warm and kind. His shop is clean and professional. He makes scheduling easy. Edwin takes the time to make sure he gets the haircut just right and that everyone loves it!

This is the best barber shop in town! Edwin is polite and does an excellent job cutting men’s hair. His place is really suitable for men with no frills of a salon. It’s one person operation and is very accommodating for working professionals as it is open until 700pm on some days. I was a long time customer of Fantastic Sam’s next to Vons for several years…they just suck now…with new staff there…Edwin is awesome…I’ll be going back as long as I’m in SLO.
