It's dirty, bad smelling place (smell of wet brushed coloured hair with hint of burned hair due to using of hairdryer). Place looks shabby a d definitely not contemporary. BUT, there are always a least 2-3 people in line, waiting for haircut, often kids age 7 and up. Price for regular kids haircut is ridiculous - $10. They made it well enough, so I gave them 4 stars (but please, use sweeper after each client, setup ventilation system, put some good kids books, so kids will read instead of watching TV while waiting for their cuts).

My regular hair cutting place for years. No appointments are accepted. Did during Covid. Place gets crowded on Saturday and Sunday especially before holidays.

Extremely disappointed with my haircut. The man who did it cut my hair way too short, even though I clearly explained what I wanted. It’s now so short that the only way I can wear it is in a ponytail because of how terrible it looks. As a woman, I wouldn’t recommend going here if you care about keeping your length or getting a style you actually asked for.

I waxed my eyebrows she totally mest them up I told her don’t do them thin and she still went on and did them how she wanted didn’t even listen to anything that I said super disappointed and mad 🤬

They ruined the worst haircuts for me, I don't know why because there are people working there who don't know how to cut hair. I don't recommend going there. I ask for a mid-taper fade and I came out with a huge bite, now I understand thr reason why it's 15 dollars a cut. 🤬🤬🤬

Always great service. Been going there for many many moons. I usually get hit up and lined up by Trina, May of course is amazing as well and the others are pretty good too. I recommend and I won't go anywhere else locally. If I'm in Vegas I might see someone else after a week but in the bay I stick to May's.

May cuts hair the best in all of San Jose. I’ve been going to her for 30 years. She gave my 23 year old son his very first haircut!
