The Vanity Parlor

This was easily one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Michael was SO kind and accommodating right off the bat. The studio is classy and elegant but still very comfortable. Michael patiently helped me decide and communicate exactly what I wanted and the execution couldn’t have been better. He walked me through every step he was doing and gave so much helpful/practical advice. The products he uses are available at Ulta and online which made the styling feel much more accessible. Every aspect of this experience was thoughtful and professional and I can no longer imagine getting my haircut anywhere else in town.

I love the Vanity Parlor! Michael provides all of my hair services. It's the perfect hair experience in his beautiful salon. Every client is treated as a valued guest. I leave refreshed and glamorous.

If you need a haircut that’s the place to go! I got a haircut a while ago during my last visit to San Antonio and I was so happy about it that I had to come back again from Austin. The salon has great vibe, design and most importantly- Michael does an excellent job at cutting curly hair!

The parlor is so beautiful and classy. Its in a great location from my work too! I walked in and got straight to work with Micheal. It was my first time and he walked me through the process and I showed him what I was thinking and he gave me great feedback and advice that was realistic for my hair! He did a great job and pulled all the stops. As a guy it’s always the worst, dreading a hair cut, but he turned that completely around for me. He made it so clean yet also not like I just got a hair cut made it looked lived in. Im so excited to go back!!

Amazing experience!!! Michael is absolutely fantastic, and took his time getting to know my hair, what I wanted, and walking me through step by step what he was gonna do. After a lifetime of disappointing great clips cuts, I’m finally glad to finally have taken the step of seeing a proper hair stylist. He just found a permanent customer in me!! 🙂

Without a doubt, it was the best haircut I've ever had. When I moved to San Antonio from France, I had my first haircut with Michael. I wasn't sure what I wanted, but he asked me a lot of questions and ensured that I would be pleased with the result. We had a great conversation throughout, and the haircut turned out even better. My hair was in a mess as I hadn't got a cut for four months. However, when I left, it looked better than ever. Yesterday, a stranger stopped me to tell me she loves my hair, and I received numerous compliments from my colleagues and others. I can't recommend this place enough.

My husband found Michael first and suggested I try him for a haircut / color. Little did I know that I was not going to a normal stylist but a hair wizard. This man is a genius when it comes to matching tones and I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.
