Great Clips

Got a great cut at a decent price because I had a coupon. The coupons allow me to go in more frequently. I really like the fact that they keep notes about how my cuts are done so that each one I go to they have my notes available and I'm not tied down to one location. This location is brand new and is building up their clientele so right now it's not so busy. I do wish the price of their salon care products were a bit more affordable. However that being the case I don't get my haircut anywhere else. Great Clips is the go to for my haircuts and this location just might be my regular.

I haven't been to Great Clips since last year when I moved from California. I've been going to Supercuts up here. Compared to the aforementioned salons, this salon feels bleak. It's a fairly plain and open space inside with a simple seating area to wait. It's just missing small touches of character that are hard to describe. That being said, despite less than appealing first impressions, I received a very quick yet very clean haircut from my stylist. I'm a guy with short hair, so I'm used to ~10 minute long cuts. I think this one lasted just 5 minutes. I was worried when she was done, but it looked good after a quick inspection and I've yet to find a hair out of place a week later. The price was very good with a coupon, which you can get regularly if you sign up for emails. Otherwise, the pricing isn't super competitive with Supercuts.

Amy trimmed my hair between my regular salon appointment today. I said I like my hair long and needed a trim 2 inches at most. Omg she cut 2 inches off the sides and 4 inches off the back! Why? I didn’t realize it until I ran my fingers through my hair as I was leaving. I told her my hair is curly so I need the weight or I’ll look like a poodle. Thanks girl! She didn’t listen to what I asked for.

I’ve been going to Great Clips for over 10 years. Alaura is the BEST hairdresser I’ve ever come across. Friendly, conversational, positive and a talented barber! Keep her busy, so she’ll stay around forever!

Lainey really took the time to listen to what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and made sure every detail was perfect. She’s friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in her work. I took my 4 year old son there at 6pm yesterday hoping for a really good second haircut experience. He was so happy to get his haircut. I didn’t get any names because I was almost hysterical but we got sat by one lady. She barely talked to us, and when she did she was short with her responses. She was cutting too fast and rushing even though he was sitting there patiently. She ended up not doing what I asked for and she cut him twice to the point where he was actually bleeding and crying tears. She tried to tell me that she was done even though she hadn’t blended anything and I said there was no way he could leave like that. The nice man in the shop had to finish his haircut and try to save what she had done. They ended up giving me a free haircut however we had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and will not be going back! Definitely would not take kids under the age of 10!!
