Absolutely the best. My hair leaves feeling and looking luxurious. I've been coming here from Davis for years. Erica, the owner of the salon is my stylist. Tangelo has a great selection of hair care products, and the stylist there get amazing reviews. I highly recommend.

Evelyn has been my stylist for over a year now and I always leave my appointments happy with how my hair coloring turns out. She’s also been very flexible when I’ve had to move appointments. Highly recommend!

Erica, the owner, is one of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered. A couple of months ago I parked on the street in front of the salon and she immediately came out yelling at me to move my car or she’d have it towed. Then today, while I was parked in the salon’s lot, she opened her car door directly into my car and dented it. When I got out to look at the damage, she sped off without saying a single word. I went inside to talk to one of the male workers about what happened and he couldn’t have cared less. The condition of the salon itself is pretty run-down, but that’s the least important part of this experience. The complete lack of respect and accountability from the owner is the real issue. I feel bad for people in the world who treat others with hostility because you know deep inside they probably aren’t very happy with themselves. Do yourself a favor and don’t give this place your time or money!!!

I scheduled an appointment with Evelyn, i arrived at the salon for my appointment and she just left without informing me, or even texting me to let me know that she cancelled the appointment. So rude and unprofessional. Then i tried rescheduling again with the salon as well as evelyn, neither would make an appointment. I have always been kind and nice, left a good tip. I would never go back for the way they treated me. Very unprofessional, rude, poor communication if any at all. Cancels appointments without informing the client, definitely a waste of my time. Evelyn never apologized for leaving when i arrived for my appointment, which in itself was super rude. I never had such an experience before. I would never go back.

I have been coming to Tangelo since 2019 and Evelyn has been my hairstylist all the way through. She understands how to best deal with my very thick hair and always listens closely to what I request, whether it’s a trim, thinning out some weight or camouflaging my rapidly increasing greys. She guided me to doing "baby highlights" to blend with the greys and it’s keeping my 46-year-old self feeling good! We also always enjoy catching up and having a great conversation. She’s kind, down to earth, and a talented stylist. The salon has beautiful light streaming through the windows and the vibe is fun and friendly. Highly recommend!

I've been going to Jenelle for about 3 years. She is a great stylist, very caring and fun to talk with. At my last appointment, I was told by her prior customer how Jenelle is so great and how she loves talking with her. I definitely agree! Both this customer and I say, you can't go wrong with Jenelle.

We came here to see if we could schedule an appointment for our mom to get a haircut and color during the next couple days as we were in town visiting through the weekend. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, gave us water, showed us where the bathroom was and then was able to squeeze her in within the next hour and work between appointments to get her hair colored and done. Vinny was her stylist and he was amazing with her, making her feel comfortable and chatting with her while he got her hair done. The color and cut was absolutely beautiful and our mom looks great! She also had a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back to get her hair done again when we are on town and will probably get mine done as well! Bright clean salon and within walking distance so bonus!
