I’ve gotten a silk press from here for years! My hair always comes out amazing and more healthy than ever before. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful. Vee is attentive and kind. She put me in the most relaxed space and took great care. I love the results of my hair and the aftercare advice she gave me was helpful. I will most definitely be back.

Please DO NOT REVIEW (or be bamboozled by these fake ahh "THE BEST" reviews -notice how they all come in the same time frame - to cover this real review up! & I’ll keep editing because when I said permanent - that’s what I meant I HAVE BEFORE PHOTOS IF NEEDED !!) ——JUST BECAUSE YOU WERE ASKED TO DO SO!!! This woman damaged my hair permanently!!! Fried it to death ! Left me under the dryer for close to two hours. I went in for a regular old silk press and a trim . I ended up losing over 3 inches of hair after her "trim" which she cut in my hair and the ends of my hair more than a trim should have been. If you have a head full of hair — RUN AWAY ! She may know how to do short styles/ buzz cuts. But this woman doesn’t know how to care for hair and she’s "licensed" My hair is dead . I called her crying about the damage telling her my hair was falling out , and all she did was ask me to come in - to tell me I’m lying and she can’t see the damage. 😂this was Mother’s Day (‘23) last year. ✌️ do not spend your money . And no she didn’t even offer a refund . 😂 Thanks VEE . (Inserts photo , because I had 4c hair before I went in and now it looks permed 🤷🏽‍♀️ and she couldn’t "see the damage " )

A fantastic experience! I have never seen my hair so straight. Beyond happy with the results, its been almost a week and my hair is still beautiful. Mrs Vee was so knowledgeable about the health and care for hair all textures of hair. She even saved my baby girls damaged hair! (Thats her below) I am so grateful for this woman and excited for our next appt!

I had the intention to support a Black hair salon and was happy one was close by. Their Google profile and other sources say they welcome walk-ins and I wanted a simple short haircut. They turned me away and told me to go to a BARBER eventhough I usually go downtown and get trendy haircuts all the time. I ended up going to Ulta across the street and the sweetest girl gave me the haircut exactly what I wanted! Very disappointed in the treatment I received despite my optimism, you'd think they would be happy I wanted to use their services! They missed out on quite a bit of money I was willing to spend! Very frustrating.

I’ve been going to Ms. Vee since July 2024 and want everyone to know what an AMAZING hairstylist she is! Ms. Vee genuinely cares about her clients and the health of your hair. That’s why she has so many great reviews! She’s extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of hair care and always puts her clients best interest first. She keeps a very clean shop and makes everyone feel welcome and safe when you come to her shop. Ms. Vee has taken such great care of my hair since I’ve been coming to her, and always uses the best products. I appreciate Ms. Vee and very grateful to have her as my hairstylist.
