Layla is an amazing stylist! I have been coming to see her for over a year and she never disappoints! I first saw her to add pink highlights with bangs and a layered cut. She is super talented with fashion colors so it turned out stunning. I have now transitioned to icy blonde highlights that she has blended beautifully so they shine through when my hair is down or up! She gave me face framing layers with highlights to frame and accentuate my face. She is great at communicating so I feel like she knows exactly what I want and delivers every time. I cannot recommend her enough!!

She explained everything they were doing, made great suggestions, and the final result exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was relaxing, and I left feeling confident and refreshed. From the start I knew I could trust Gabrielle to cut my hair because she really listened and gave me creative and solid advice based on what I wanted. As she cut she explained her technique and why it would work. And it did work! Then she give me new styling ideas that fit my wash and wear approach to hair care. I'm grateful to Gabi for her patience and skill. So happy I found her.

Went in to get my roots touched up with Layla. My natural hair had grown out about 3-4 inches (see first image). The color I wanted to match is blonde highlights with a subtle brown-reddish base (hair dye not color lift) as shown in the first picture attached. By the end of the 5 hr process, my hair roots did not matched the rest of my hair. Instead, the highlights and ends were darkened. There was no base color applied to the roots, my natural hair was used as base - see 3 middle pictures below. I asked if I could get a refund, the salon said they would correct the error before moving to a refund. I went back a week later. The stylist, Layla, along with another stylist, Gina, lifted all of the color from my hair - base and highlight. The outcome was a vertically uniform color across my hair, but it was no longer the hair I started with. Instead, I have a stronger red base giving an overall copper effect (see last 3 images). After finishing, they commented something along the lines of, "see, now the roots match the ends". This might be true, but only a part of the request. Total for hair coloring was around $500.

Joy Ho, owner, has been doing my hair for 13 years. Her knowledge, creativity and passion for her work is evident. I am always pleased with my color and extensions. Blondes can sometimes come out yellow or even purple if a person doesn’t know the skill. Joy is an expert at color and extensions and makes sure all her employees are trained with the latest techniques. After leaving the salon today, I did a little shopping and was stopped by someone who commented on the beauty of my hair color. I thanked her and she told me that she does hair and can tell when someone has a good stylist! Joy is not only an expert, but she is kind and generous. I am so happy to have her in my life.
