The atmosphere is great! The location is wonderful. The attitudes and personality of the ladies make you want to return time and time again. The shampoo experience is Divine!!! I wanted to fall in love with this place SOOOOOO badly. Sadly, my hair experience was not as great. I've been three times. Twice for me, and once for my daughter. Two different stylists. My first stylist was a lovely lady. She did a great job color-matching my hair. My only complaint was that she gave me a blow out resulting in me looking like a mushroom when I left. lol. I really needed my hair styled. She took so much time and focus on curling my short bob in the blowout that I no longer had time to have my hair styled in a way that looked good. 🙁 Sadly, I still had to pay as if she did style my hair. Bummer. This place isn't easy on the wallet. I returned to have my daughter's hair braided for surgery. Again, lovely ladies, however, the ability didn't match the promises. It was rebraided at least 3 times and I had to redo myself when I got home. I was really counting on a professional braid as mine is NOT. lol. My last visit was a cut and color by a different stylist. Once again - great lady. I very much enjoyed my time with her. My hair color was a great match. However, my cut is very, very bad. Remember Courtney Cox's haircut back in the day? Short bob, half curled under in that very heavy layer and then flipped out under? Yup. That's me now...with lots of stray hairs that were not cut. I'm disappointed that on top of the bad cut, I was rushed out of the chair because her next client had arrived and she no longer had time to style my hair....again, I was charged as if my hair had been styled. I did ask if styling was a part of the service and was told "yes, however, she didn't have time." Ugh. I think the vision of the owner is great! I also believe the ladies that I experienced will be great once they have more training and some mentorship.

I hadn't had a professional hair cut in years, so I was a bit nervous getting a hair cut but I had an amazing experience with Ashley. I showed her my Pinterest page of hair ideas and she did exactly what I wanted! My hair is lighter, shorter and so fun! The salon itself is huge and inviting, Ashley even gave me a little history on the space. I highly recommend this place and especially Ashley!

Vintage Beauty Salon is the best! I have been going to Ashley for about 10 years, and am happy every single time I leave. You can tell from the moment you walk in how much all the stylist care about their clients and them having a positive experience. I can never imagine going anywhere else!

Went here for my first time not doing my own hair at home. My stylist was super nice, and the atmosphere is great. Unfortunately, I went in to get my hair bleached platinum white, and the stylist used a new product she hadn't tried before that turned the ends of my hair purple, which she couldn't get out with multiple rounds of bleach/color/toner. She was really nice to cut off some of the purple for free, but ultimately I left with purple hair which was not the goal.

The entire experience was relaxing and fun. What a beautiful space to get pampered. We found a free parking garage just around the corner from salon, in hot Texas summer definitely park under the shade! We brought our puppy (with pre arranged permission) and he was the guest greeter for the day. Thank you so much. I feel pretty!

Absolutely in LOVE with my hair!! I had my first appointment for a color correction with Claire and I left feeling amazing and happy with the results. She took the time to make sure my hair stayed healthy and was spot on with the color I wanted! She was willing to spend the entire day with me to make sure everything was perfect! I can't wait to go back. I am over the moon, she is helping me get my hair back to a healthy and pretty color before my wedding in November! Highly recommend Claire at Vintage Beauty Salon. The entire staff there was super nice and welcoming as well!
