I dont get my haircut often but Ted has cut my hair maybe 3 times now over the last few years and every single time, I feel like a million bucks. I'm a lazy girl and i let my hair decide it's own fate most days and I like that he doesn't give me anything too complicated to keep up with but it still looks cute. He's also so so friendly and fun to talk to. The whole staff is friendly and the salon is clean.

I absolutely have to write a review for this salon. As you walk in you are greeted by a very nice individual name George. He asked me if I wanted something to drink, he was very polite and let my cosmetologist know I was there. Great atmosphere everybody was so nice! This was the first time I was here and I went to see Ted, I was referred by a very nice lady from the red Robin that he does wonderful hair. The person I was going to at a different place had made my hair a disaster. So I asked him if he could help as I sat there and waited for the process. I was very impressed by the professionalism and experience I had once my hair was all finished processing I felt like a miracle just happened. Ted Is definitely a Hair God!! I recommend his services to anyone without doubt, definitely referring my friends for Sure! Thank you all so much for your kindness and great experience, I can’t wait to book the next appointment. I can go on and on about how great this salon is! Ted got me in on such short notice, gave me a well needed mommy make over, and the owner Janis was the absolute sweetest!

OMG this salon saved my birthday! My appointment somewhere else was canceled last minute after having it booked for 2.5 months. I called everywhere and rightfully so they were booked. I live in Rio Rancho and google suggested this location I took a huge chance and they DID AN AMAZING JOB. I am so thankful for the owner George and the stylist Ted! Everything was perfectly in line. Ted hit my color and cut to PERFECTION! Please Ted don’t go anywhere I’ll be back! Thanks again for everything.

My stylist, unfortunately, stopped doing hair, so I needed a new one. I went to Salon Deluxe in person to find out how much they would charge for hi-lights, low-lights, cut and blow dry. I chose to go there because my hair is a little on the long side and I did not want to get one price then learn it was different due to the length. A very nice blonde haired woman came up to help me. She pulled out a price sheet and told me that it was $150, but prices were increasing 3% on February 1st. I told her that was fine and scheduled an appointment for 2/11 with Ted. When I arrived everyone was friendly and I did not have to wait. Ted was very personable and did a nice job on my hair. Had my experience ended there, I would have become a regular client. However, he informed me that my visit was $210. I was floored and told him what I was quoted. He really did not want to hear it, but did say that he would reduce his cost to $185. I felt very taken advantage of over this incident. I am a very loyal client to my stylist. Like clockwork, I get my hair done every 6-8 weeks and I typically tip very well (I gave a minimal tip on this visit and really should not have tipped at all). The woman who helped me originally had a price list, so I am not sure what happened but I will not go back and wanted to share my experience hoping to warn others of this possibility.

When I called to make an appointment the owner spent quite a bit of time getting to know me a little better over the phone. She said she likes to try and match her customers to her stylists. Well she did a great job!! Elizabeth cut my hair today and the cut is amazing and the match was perfect. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable. I will definitely be going back.
