Great Clips

I had an excellent experience at Great Clips. As soon as I came in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional. The salon was clean and well-organized, and I felt comfortable. My stylist, Angela, did an outstanding job with my haircut. She took the time to listen carefully to what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions to make sure the final look suited me perfectly. Her attention to detail and skill really stood out, and I left feeling confident and refreshed. Angela and the whole team made the experience super easy and enjoyable. You can tell they really care about their customers and take pride in their work. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Angela if you’re looking for a great haircut and friendly service!

I lost my hair person, who I had for 26 years. I thought "Let me try Great Clips," and had Brandi in Rio Rancho. She was so understanding, friendly, professional, and is my go-to hair specialist now. Great haircut every time. My husband even goes to Great Clips in Rio Rancho now. We are very happy with the location, the products and the stylists.

So I had an interesting experience today, so a little back info a few months ago I dyed the front pieces of my hair purple for Halloween but quickly got sick of it after about a month so I dyed it back to brown (my natural hair color) and unfortunately it made my hair green. I spent 2 months trying to get it out of my hair but nothing was really working. I got it to come out a little bit but it was still noticeable so I decided to come here to see if we could get it out of my hair. I told the lady that was doing my hair and she got to work about 10 minutes later she was done. I had asked her to try to get as much of the green out as possible, trim my ends, and to straighten up my bangs. Before she started she asked if I wanted ½ an inch or 1 inch off on the ends and I said half an inch. When she was done she pulled my hair forward and i noticed it was a lot shorter than what i wanted and she said "I took off an inch" very proudly even tho she asked me how much i wanted off, answered her, and she took more off but at the end of the day it's not that big of a deal, hair will grow back. A few hours had passed and i had already gotten home and i then noticed that a huge chuck of my hair on the right side of my face was to my chin but it wasn’t on the other side, so i gave the store a called and i spoke on the phone to Melissa and she was very helpful. I explained the situation and wanted to come in and get it fixed free of charge which luckily we were able to do. She said she was gonna put me with the manager and we would get everything taken care of. I showed up about 10 minutes later and we were able to fix it but while I was getting it cut for the 2nd time the original girl that did my hair decided to come over and make a few comments. It was very uncomfortable to say the least when she was surprised that we agreed on just chopping it all off and it was very hard not to say. Well this wasn’t the original plan but since you butchered my hair this was the backup option. I’m guessing this girl is new because I've never seen her before. It's sad to say but I think great clips should rethink the idea of hiring her before she ruins another person's hair. I had half a mind to demand my money back but I didn't because I also work in the service industry. As sad as I am that I lost all the length I had been growing out, I absolutely love my new look!

The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The shop was clean, the wait time was short, and the prices are great for the quality of service you get. I’ll definitely be coming back to see Yvonne again!

Been coming here for years. Made an online appt, arrived on time, No-one in the front to check in with so I sat down. The next person at the front just skipped me. I was skipped over because I didn't "check in". When I asked why I was skipped - the lady informed me that I needed to "check in". THERE WAS NO ONE TO CHECK IN WITH AND I WAS IGNORED. Not even an apology - just put it on me.... - too bad that this customer service is so bad.

Melissa cut my hair today and she was amazing! She reviewed the plan for my haircut. She walked me through everything she was doing. She was very kind, very positive, and very energetic. We were able to discuss hair, current events and she was just so pleasant. She used a product in my hair that I absolutely loved and ended up purchasing! I have already planned on her being the person who cuts my hair consistently. So I will definitely look to her to do my future haircuts. I had a very nice experience today at great clips. Also I got a perfect haircut from her.Thank you so much melissa!

My mom and I have been going to this location for several years to get our hair cut and we both couldn't be any happier!! They are always very efficient and accommodating!! They always do a great job and are always super friendly!! I would greatly recommend them (any of the stylists)!!
