I’m extremely disappointed with this haircut. Mind you I just had a baby and wanted to feel like myself again. Before my appointment, my hair was thick, and full of volume. I specifically asked for a shoulder-length cut with layers (I even showed her a reference video which showed step by step on what I wanted). Instead, I walked out with a haircut that completely changed the texture and appearance of my hair. Now, the bottom half of my hair is thin and wispy, while the top is bulky and heavy. There’s no blend at all. It looks like two completely different haircuts stacked on top of each other (almost like a jellyfish haircut). The haircut doesn’t resemble the reference video I showed at all, and it’s the complete opposite of what I asked for. I’m disappointed because this isn’t an easy fix. Since the thickness of my hair is gone and the hair is choppy, in order to fix it I have to go even shorter. I didn’t see how much she cut off until she was done and blow dried it. Would not go back again.

Don't be fooled w. the negative reviews , I came in with my husband and 3 kids NO appt , as a walk in we were imminently offered drinks and snacks for the fam . Upon talking to staff this salon is Under new management ! *Salon was super clean *No long wait time * Reasonable pricing *Professional , attentive. Thank you George ! I HIGHLY RECOMEND !!!!!!

I've been coming to Revive Salon and Barber for a while now, and I can confidently say this place delivers exceptional service with a personal touch. Jorge is absolutely outstanding when it comes to professionalism. He's not just skilled with the scissors - he genuinely engages with customers, keeps the conversation flowing, and always manages to make everyone laugh. His welcoming personality makes every visit enjoyable and comfortable. My personal barber is Vanessa, and she's simply incredible. What strikes me most is how well-spoken and caring she is with all her customers. She always asks how you're doing and somehow remembers the specific haircuts of so many different people - including mine. I'll admit, I'm guilty of not always remembering exactly what I want, but that's never a problem with Vanessa. Every time I walk in, she just starts cutting and asks how short I want it. If I change my mind about anything during the cut, she's completely flexible. Her knowledge and expertise really show, and I'm so glad she's there more frequently now. The space itself has been noticeably cleaned up since the ownership changed, and you can really see the vision coming to life. The improvements to the barbershop are impressive, and I'm excited to see the final outcome as they continue developing the salon side. Revive Salon and Barber combines skilled professionals with genuine customer care - exactly what you want in a barbershop experience. Highly recommend both Jorge and Vanessa for anyone looking for quality cuts and great service.

1st time I came here Ana helped me and that was a 5+ star experience - she was wonderful. I made an appointment today for Ana to do my hair, but ultimately a different stylist had to do it because she was unavailable/something came up, which I was ok with & understandable that sometimes things happen in life. The woman (didn’t catch her name) with an alternative/goth style who did my hair was nice, but I was asking for it to be bleached & she only did my roots and didn’t touch any of the previously dyed segments, I didn’t question it or say anything because I thought maybe she was going to do some kind of color remover rinse to not risk damaging the hair further etc. but she never did & at a certain point I started suspecting she had no intention to…so I panicked and asked for color because I had no time to fix this myself when I get home & was worried I was going to be sent out looking a complete mess and that was my biggest mistake…she did probably the least saturated job I’ve ever seen. Which is wild because her own sections of dyed hair looked amazing & vibrant. It’s very patchy and just worse than when I do it at home myself? I should have spoke up sooner and asked what her plan was for the previously colored segments, but my anxiety got the best of me this time. Idk if she felt rushed or what the deal was, but it was a pretty disappointing experience for me. Ana had set an expectation in my mind (who communicated a lot throughout the process & made me feel very confident we were on the same page every step of the way) so when this artist didn’t really communicate that much or clarify what I wanted (maybe she genuinely believed I wanted this root only bleaching & wanted it to look like it was dyed months ago instead of fresh? - idk) but I had assumed it would be fine & they were on the level I had experienced w/ Ana’s service & I could just trust the process. I essentially paid 80 dollars for a quarter segment bleach + dye that I’m honestly going to re-dye in a few days/as soon as I can, I would go back but only to Ana or come mentally prepared to be very specific and spell out exactly what my expectations are immediately (like specifically say please bleach/pull color from all of the hair & not only the roots or please make sure color is consistent and saturated) Again…she was nice & this is partially on me because I’m not very assertive & did not speak up about my concerns during the process and if I had spoken up the outcome may have been less disappointing.

Ana is amazing. She cut my hair with scissors, how I asked. 😊 They also offer you a shot before the haircut. 🤘🏻 10/10 would recommend.

I took my son to get a haircut. Most barbers only know how to do fades… I know the place says salon, but you just never know. His stylist (I wish I would’ve gotten her name), did an amazing job on my son’s hair. The shop has a great vibe and they were super friendly too. We will definitely be going back.
