The Salon Professional Academy in Rapid City

I’m a student at TSPA Rapid City and I’ve been loving our Texture Mastery classes that focus on learning about curly hair. It’s important as hairstylists to learn how to do all hair types and textures, and I’ve found it very informative. Here’s my work after last week’s class on wash-n-go styling. I practiced two different techniques, one on each side of my mannequin. 🙂

Last week, The Salon Professional Academy had a specialty Karah Kay braiding class. We learned all different kinds of braids along with wedding and prom styles. This was a very informative class and enjoyed it very much.

I just posted a client l had from Nola who has the most beautiful natural textured hair with She wanted some nice juicy twists to get her through her work week and for them to last into her trip home so we 3 strand twisted at the base and 2 strand twisted to the bottom so when she takes them out, they are nice, bouncy and curly. She loved her hair and said she would definitely be back if she is ever in Rapid again.

I had such a good experience I might just marry the girl that gave me a haircut! She has done an amazing job every time I have come in. Best $10 I’ll ever spend! Savanah makes a beautiful receptionist and brought a professional first impression to the salon! I will definitely be back in for more from Savanah!

Emma Larson did SUCH an amazing job on my lashes and brow tint! Cannot wait to go to her again, i’m obsessed and highly recommend Emma!

I had one of the best gel manicures by Kennady at the salon professional academy! Her attention to detail was amazing and love the milk chocolate brown she suggested, great fall color. One of the most flawless manicures Ive had would definitely recommend!!!!
