The Hair Obsession

I liked Valerie as a person, she was kind, however I am very sadly disappointed with the haircut I got. I scheduled a cut with Valerie (no prior experience with this salon). I had wanted an evened out long layered look for my long hair. Even after expressing my concern for "choppy looking ends" it seemed the outcome was very uneven and choppy. Left me wondering what I went in for. V. did not wet or section my hair to cut it, but instead cut my hair completely dry with maybe a little mist. I tried to express my concerns for the choppy looking ends but she spread out my hair to shift it around so it wouldn’t show as much, but later upon better evaluation it truly was very uneven with lots of longer hairs missed. After paying $85 for this cut it is really disappointing to feel like I can’t wear my hair down. I don’t like leaving poor reviews but when getting your hair cut costs so much and it doesn’t even look nice I think I should say something.

ashley is truly one of the best there. i came to her with a bleached gone wrong situation and i was so discouraged after i really messed up my hair. not only did she fit me in last minute but she completely brought my hair (and my confidence) back to life!! she truly gave me my spark back. from the moment i sat in her chair, ashley was so kind, patient and more than welcoming. our conversations flowed so naturally and i instantly felt comfortable with her. that alone built so much trust but then seeing how knowledgeable and intentional she was with my hair sealed the deal! ever since i started getting my hair done by her, i have never looked back!! she listens, she cares, she wants you to truly love you hair all while still keeping it healthy might i add!! she’s so incredibly talented and has such a beautiful soul!! she is AMAZING!

Got my hair done here by Becca she was amazing and very attentive. She made sure to keep me updated on the process the whole time before any cut. I asked for long layers with face framing and I’m so happy with her work! I also loved how she styled my hair the curls looked amazing. Definitely will be coming back and booking with her soon.

I had an appointment with Ashley . It’s my first time having any colour on my hairs and I loved my haircut and highlights! The color turned out even better than I expected . The highlights are blended beautifully .

Verry dissatisfied with the service received. Took my son in for a wavy perm. At the consultation we were told that the length of his hair was suitable for this service. At the time of service my son was told multiple times that his hair was short, yet they still did the "wavy perm". Nautika was inexperienced. My sons hair is a disaster. He was so excited, we were charged 180 for this disaster.

I’ve had my hair cut by Ashley about 4 times now and never been let down once. In the vast sea of hair salons, this one has been exceptional. Their website is easy to navigate, the staff is kind and understanding, and I always end up with a result I’m excited to show friends/family. Love love love The Hair Obsession ☺️💕

I scheduled a last minute appointment finally tired of my dry elastic-like ends, the appointment process by phone call was fast and easy, with Ashley being my hairdresser. She was extremely professional, kind, open, and interested in what I wanted for my hair and the needs for its texture. I wanted to go for a really short bob, thinned in the ends to achieve volume on the top, she did exactly what I wanted and was careful and mindful of my hairs texture and how it would shrink when dried as I have thick, wavy/curly hair, I loved her attentiveness and her ability to make my hair dream a reality! My bob is fye! 🤏😍 thank you Ashley! I will definitely be coming back!
