saw Violet after months of cutting my own hair. She really made art out of the mess i’d made 😂 I have another stylist at a different salon who unfortunately had to reschedule me due to weather. i do not like switching but i was feeling super bad about how my hair looked and Violet was able to get my scheduled and give me the exact shaggy cut i was looking for. Head massage while getting shampooed was also super relaxing and nice, and her vibe is just awesome. will definitely be scheduling with her again <3

This was a terrible experience, and I will not be coming back. I’d give zero stars if I could. The appointment felt rushed, and the stylist clearly did not listen to what I wanted, even after I explained and showed reference photos. The final result looked nothing like what we discussed. The cut was uneven, the styling was sloppy, and I left genuinely upset. When I brought up my concerns, the stylist became defensive instead of trying to fix the problem. For how much I paid, this level of service is unacceptable. To make things worse, I overheard multiple stylists talking badly about another coworker and using foul language. It created an uncomfortable, unprofessional, and negative atmosphere. This is not the kind of environment anyone wants to sit in for hours. Overall, this was a complete waste of time and money. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

Great experience with McKenna! She was friendly, helpful, and made sure I understood what she was doing with my hair. I love how the cut turned out and appreciated all the styling tips. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and love it! Liv is the best ❤️ definitely a stylist there for everyone. But! After going to the second location today, Salon Deux has a superb set up for washing hair.

Celeste is incredibly skilled, and I feel lucky to have found her. My hair is fine and naturally wavy/curly, but I also like to wear it straight sometimes. She cuts it so it looks beautiful either way. She's also just genuinely a pleasure to be around, even on days I'm in a quiet mood. The salon itself is lovely inside and in a great location for me. I appreciate the special touches like the holiday decor, the appointment reminders, and the Nespresso machine.

Alter Ego is a wonderful salon. From the second I walked in, I felt welcomed. I booked with Sierra House and she did a wonderful job of making me feel heard and also helping me understand what would work well for my hair. I highly recommend Alter Ego. I’ve already booked my next appointment.

I have been seeing Marissa for a little over a year now and she never fails to impress me with her skill and ability to turn a vision into reality. She's easily the best hair stylist I have ever had, and having lived in many different places, I've had a few. On top of her skill, she is so friendly and fun. I have never been disappointed and know my money is well-spent with Marissa. The salon is a very relaxed environment and it's always an enjoyable experience overall. Can't recommend Alter Ego and Marissa enough!
