Donna is fantastic! She is so good at making you (and your child) feel comfortable while she quickly and seemingly effortlessly provides a quality cut. I enjoy a quick, no frills, no fuss haircut and she has never disappointed. In, out, and back to life with fresh looking locks.

Donna and her team are the best hair dressers I am associated with. I have been going to this salon for over 15 years and continues to have my hair done here. I moved from Quincy to Boston but goes to Alex hair salon for my haircuts and color. They understand exactly what I want and I am pleased with their work. My sister and I did our hair yesterday and it was perfect, just what we asked for. They are very reasonable and professional. Myself and family will continue to go to Alex Hair salon. I endorse and promote this salon.

My wife got a trim here and it was a quick, no-frills cut that looks great. They were able to fit her in on a Saturday when most other places in town were all busy since she was looking for a walk-in or last-minute appointment, and Donna and the team there did a nice job.

I dont even know where to start. They dont put hair color on your head the correct way. Your not supposed to start at the top of your head bc then your roots will be lighter than the bottom half... they are so rough and legit hurt my scalp. I asked for light brown and she told me it would look nice and she was happy to do it. It turned out orange red. I asked her what color she did and she put in the wrong color. I demanded a refund but the owner laughed at me and refused to give me my money back. My hair is burnt and gross now and I am so upset. Do not come here. The other reviews are fake. They need to be shut down. I dont believe that they ever went to beauty school. I've taken hair styling classes and they messed up so bad. I'm so upset.

Excellent experence today with my trim and color!!!! My hair is very difficult to color (many at home box dye jobs, cringe I know) in the past year my hair has been fully blonde, dark brown, bright red and back to brown. She was able to get my base hair color to a beautiful brown with perfect pale blonde highlights with a partial foil!!!! So impressed and will be returning for future visits with put a doubt!
