😡 I’ve been coming to this salon for years, always tolerating service done by Ingrid (the owner) that was just barely acceptable. But after what’s happened this year (2025), I feel obligated to speak up. In February, I went in for a haircut with Ingrid and asked for layers. A week later, it was obvious—confirmed by other stylists—that she didn’t actually cut any layers at all. I went back expecting a correction, only to be told I had to pay again. Disappointing, but I let it slide. Fast forward to today, October 1st. I called in to ask about getting a perm and was told that only Ingrid does them. She called me back, asked a few questions, and agreed to do the service. I took time off work and drove from Lehi to Provo. When I arrived, I told her I wanted large curls—not small rollers. She agreed, washed my clean hair, then started pushing mousse with diffusion instead of the perm. I explained that I’ve had curly hair for 45 years and have tried everything; that I had done a perm before to define my curls. She insisted we "try the mousse first," used a tiny amount, and then diffused it for maybe a minute. I asked her if she was going to do the perm. She said no — that she wasn’t going to do the perm at all. I wasted time and gas, and my clean, blow-dried hair got wet for absolutely nothing 🤬. I called her on my way home to let her know how disappointed I was; she told me that she only does perms on clients with straight hair, even though she knew my hair is naturally curly, and instead of owning it, she responded with "Then go to another salon to get it done." I will. And I suggest others do the same, or at least don't let Ingrid herself do anything to your hair. This business clearly does not value its loyal customers.

I have been her client for 30+ years, and she is the best. I don’t let anyone to touch my hair except for her. She is my friend and whatever I ask her to do she is very professional and does it. I really recommend her and her beauty salon, good energy and friendly environment. 100% satisfied with her job, treatment and kindness I just love her 🥰👏👏👏👏

Ingrid's Salon just moved to a new bigger location. They have a bunch of chairs in the front and more in the back for coloring. Their staff is super friendly and they do great stuff with hair. Their prices are awesome for the amount of work they put in. They speak English and Spanish here too which is always great. Would highly recommend coming here to get your hair done if you live around the area.

Ingrid has incredible experience working with diverse hair textures. She shapes your hair to match your face and provides recommendations on how to maintain & style your new hair look. Ingrid is absolutely talented and you’re very lucky to have this salon based here in Provo, Utah.

I am from out of town. I came in for my son's wedding. Desperately needing a haircut after my long trip. I couldn't Spanish to the lady but she knew exactly what I needed to do. Love my haircut
