Just received a call from guest coordinator "CC". She informed me that I missed an appointment about 30 minutes prior. I explained that I did not have that appointment on my calendar. Further, I explained that I received no text message confirmation nor a phone call confirming the appointment prior, as I have experienced with this company for nearly 5 years. "CC" explained that perhaps something was wrong with their "system". Regardless, I apologized and asked for the stylist’s next available appointment. She explained that she had to charge me for the missed appointment. I was not happy about that. I then proceeded to explain that I have been a customer for nearly 5 years, and had no prior knowledge, nor proof that this supposed appointment existed and explained that while I was ok to schedule a new appointment, I was not happy about being charged for the missed appointment, esp since I do not believe it was my fault as I had no prior knowledge of the appointment that she "claims" was made. She then hemmed and hawed and made some weird, and clearly "irritated audible sounds". Then she said "well I guess I can speak to my manager." I said, "yes please do that". Then, she said, "actually" I am going to hang up the phone and charge your card. So she did. And I disputed it and my credit card company immediately refunded the money. However, this "CC" was so rude, that I felt the need to leave a review. This place has a terrible local reputation, a reputation for being stuck up, arrogant, and over priced. I could go on and on with what others say, but I’ll focus on the extremely negative experience I had with "cc" today. The only reason I have gone to Bijin for so long is that there is one particular stylist who I like and am happy to give business to. However, me going to Bijin, stopped today. If you are new town, please do some research on your own and support another business that actually cares about its customers, rather than Bijin, which clearly does not. Update: 11/22/2025 - received an email with a response by owner posted to my review. As you can see below, it says "Thanks for your feedback. May we reach out to discuss?" As I don’t see an option on Google’s review platform to respond directly to that comments I am posting my response here: "Yes, I would be happy to discuss. You have all my information in your CRM. Call any time."

Everyone is always so friendly and positive; they want to give you the best and most comfortable experience possible. I had the same hairstylist for 25 years, but when she ended her career a few years ago, I was needing to find a new stylist and found her here at Bijin. I have enjoyed her work and her conversation very much, and am hoping she'll be my stylist for the next 25 years!

I went for the first time and had an incredible experience! I was greeted with such a warm welcome and was very impressed by the hospitality and attention to detail they gave me as a new guest. I received a fassage and it was truly a dream!!! The entire atmosphere was calming and comfortable. I will definitely be returning and trying other services in the future!

I was visiting a friend, from out of town, for an early Christmas gift exchange and she booked me a blow-out appt along with hers (like we always do when I'm there). She lives up there, has been a regular for years and gets a blow out twice a week. We arrived, 4 minutes late, and she ran in while I got a parking spot. I get in and she's already been taken back. My stylist is standing, waiting for me, and with barely a smile leads me to a chair. So begins my wonderful experience. - My shampoo/scalp massage lasted all of about 4 minutes. Wow, how relaxing! - My stylist (whom my friend always books me with when I'm in town) seemed out of "sorts". She barely spoke. Aggravated that I was 5 minutes late.. maybe? - She was plainly "put-off" by me bringing my own crimper (she doesn't have one, and I wanted my hair crimped!) and said "I might not have time, BEFORE my next client, to crimp your hair". When is your next client? In 5 minutes? (My hair is only about 2" below my shoulders and takes me, at home, about 15 minutes max!) - She dries my hair (in less than 10 minutes) and proceeds to randomly crimp sections of my hair (she spent no longer than 5 or 6 minutes). I then told her I wanted my hair just pulled back up into my claw clip (like it had been when I arrived). Nothing fancy or difficult... pull it up, fluff a bit and spray. She seemed, again, at odds on doing it like I asked, so...I ended up pulling it up myself! - I'm certain my whole blow-out experience lasted less than 25 to 30 minutes. Not sure what the average book time is THERE, but my stylist, here where I live, spends 45 - 60 minutes. This visit was disappointing, a WASTE of time and a waste of money, to say the least. (And yes, I did tip 20% - although I'm not sure why). My friend, who started before me, came out 25 minutes AFTER I was done. I love this salon, normally, and maybe it was a bad day for my stylist but she ruined the beginning of an out of town weekend holiday get together for me. UPDATED 1-9-26: Yes management, please reach out to me. You should have my phone number on file.

I had a facial and Kenzie was the fantastic. She explained what she was doing and her "touch" was perfect. My skin feels great.

I had my very first visit to the spa, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Charmane was absolutely amazing—so kind, professional, and incredibly skilled. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel comfortable and at ease. Her massage was incredibly relaxing and exactly what I needed. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend Charmane to anyone seeking a truly soothing and personalized spa experience!

I got a gua sha facial with Kenzie …. Wow it was amazing! My skin is glowing and insanely smooth and snatched! The downstairs spa experience is so cool and felt like I was in an oasis . I was so impressed!
