I came to Salon Nyla for a perm and Jennifer was amazing! Jennifer took the time to talk me through the type of curls I wanted and explained the whole process so I knew exactly what to expect. I really appreciated the extra time and care she put into protecting my specific hair type, every step she made felt thoughtful and professional! Jennifer was so down to earth I had such a good conversation with her, it truly was refreshing! I absolutely LOVE my new curls! Has to be the best perm I have ever had! No need to look elsewhere, Salon Nyla is the place to go for perms!

I had such an amazing experience with Jen at Salon Nyla. She gave me one of the best perms I’ve ever had, bouncy, defined, and exactly the curl pattern I wanted. She took time to understand my hair, walked me through the whole process, and made sure I felt comfortable and cared for the entire appointment. Jen is incredibly skilled, detail-oriented, and genuinely fun to work with. My curls look natural, healthy, and full of life. I’ve gotten so many compliments already! If you’re looking for a place that gives great perms, look no further! I love perms, and this is my fifth time getting one. I always make sure to read reviews and look at photos before booking an appointment, so if you’re doing the same, I hope this review helps! For context, I’ve had a few perms in the past that didn’t turn out great. Sometimes the curls were too loose, some strands stayed straight, or the curls fell out within hours after the perm. These experiences made me anxious about trying a new place. Then I met Jennifer! She’s the sweetest, kindest hairdresser you’ll ever meet. During our appointment, I felt truly listened to. I told her I wanted a tighter perm because my long hair tends to stretch out after a few weeks. I showed her some pictures, and she exceeded my expectations! Jennifer was incredibly meticulous, spending a lot of time on each rod to ensure every strand of my hair was curled perfectly. My hair is thick and long, which made the process even more challenging, but she handled it with patience and a smile. She put in 227 rods over the course of five hours, which was no small feat. Not a single strand was left uncurled by the end. Beyond her technical skills, Jennifer was so thoughtful. She took the time to teach me how to care for my perm and even showed me a new trick for diffusing my hair. At the end of the appointment, she trimmed my dead ends just because she wanted me to look my best. Honestly, Jennifer was a lifesaver. I have a really important event this month, and I’d been feeling anxious about my appearance. She worked wonders with my hair and gave me the best perm I’ve ever had. I’m so glad I found her! I’ll definitely return to Jennifer for any future perms. If you’re in the same boat as I was and decide to book with Jennifer, I know you’ll be in great hands! Don’t come here. I had booked a consultation with Jennifer who was 30 minutes late. No one greeted me at the front desk. When Jennifer sat me down in the chair, her first comment on my hair was OH MY GOODNESS. YOU HAVE CHEMO TREATED HAIR!!! I was shocked at her remark because I have never been treated for Cancer. Her remark was very hurtful but I decided to give her another chance and booked an appointment with her on a Saturday. I parked in the garage and tried 3 different elevators to get to Salon Nyla, all of which the main doors were locked. I tried calling their main number which went directly to voicemail. Oh yes, and when I got to the garage, Jennifer left me a voicemail saying that she was running 30 minutes late. I decided to drive back home after feeling very frustrated. When I scheduled my appointment with Jennifer; I had to put down a holding fee of $30.00 which of course was never returned to me. Salon Nyla is located inside of an Assisted Living Facility and can be hard to find. Most of the clients there were residents of the Facility.

First time having my mullet permed and I will never go anywhere else. Jennifer did an incredible job. She takes pride in her work and it shows. She truly loves what she does for a living and she’s darn good at it. Can’t recommend going to see her enough. I promise you will not regret it. Thank you Jennifer. You’ve earned a forever customer.

I found Jennifer at nyla's salon totally by accident. My regular stylist was sick and I desperately needed a haircut and highlights and she told me to come on down right away. I figured she was done for the day but she took me in anyway From that day forward I never went back to my original stylus after experiencing Jennifer' talent. She's a wizard with a pair of scissors and her color has been spot on every time and Ihavebeen getting service so have been getting from her for years. She's consistent. She's kind. She's compassionate. She listens to what you want and she's good at giving input on what she thinks. Looks good. She also doesn't break the bank but she's competitive and is worth every dollsre. Jennifer is a master of her craft and I just can't imagine what I would do without her. She serves all ages. All personalities she's open. She's not judgmental. I went to see Gina at Salon Nyla for a haircut. She's so kind and professional and she did an excellent job with my hair. She listens to what you want and makes you feel truly cared for. Her haircutting skills are so good and I left feeling great. I highly recommend going to this salon for a haircut. I will also add that the salon itself is immaculate and comfortable. I will be going back regularly for sure!
