Been a client for over 25 years! Yen hasn’t raised prices like others. Once. She always cuts and colors our hair to precision. She always squeezes us in. She has a great workers that keep her schedules moving. They help out. Two hairdressers better than one don’t you think?? I don’t want her to ever retire, but I know she has to one of these days. Lovely family. She’s so much fun a personal level to talk to. She stays current her shop is always clean and friendly lots of product to choose from as well. She donates a shampoo kit to those in need a few times a year and I think her for that she cares so much about people and their hearts. I can’t say enough about this woman and her staff at Beyond Beauty.

I need to share with you all the bad experiences with this place owner. I had been using her for approximately 3 years. I love her reasonable prices and my hair color. Unfortunately, in Late October 2025, she damaged my beautiful long hair. After she washed it and started to dry it , I was able to see all my hair in her brush, I yelled at her and told her, " what have you done to my hair" ? , she was like, " no, no worries, is ok" , "NOOOOO, it is not ok, you damaged all my hair, my hair is coming all off" She was trying to hide all my hair that was pulling off , I was yelling at her, "what have you done to my hair" I took a picture of a huge piece of hair, a huge piece. She did not apologize at all. I was so mad, and to the point I wanted to cry. Since that day, every time I wash my hair , my hair keeps coming off, she totally damages all my long hair. Now, I feel like I have only almost half of my hair since that day. She is very fast, and it seems like she pays no attention to details, she takes lots of clients at the same time. When she is behind, she lets clients wait with no apologies. Even worse, she can damage your hair. Please be very careful when coming to her.

I brought in my mother as a walk in. She is growing out her white hair and we were getting pretty done with the two-tone look. Yen did a wonderful job trimming off the dyed ends, and giving her good structure for when her hair grows out. Mom has dementia, and Yen was patient and kind. The service was fast and affordable. Highly recommended!

I was able to get a last minute appointment for highlights and I am very much satisfied with the results! I have naturally dark hair and the color combination is just what I love. You can’t beat the prices and the quality. Yen has been in this location since 1994! Come out and show your support to our fellow neighbor!!

Don’t go here!! You’re just wasting your money, she did the wrong color and she doesn’t know how to flat iron. I had an opt. It she made me wait for two hours than did the wrong color on me than said she said in her own words she doesn’t know how to flat iron. But she still charger me full price. No wonder she is doing it for cheat because yen doesn’t know how to do hair.

It was so easy to get my hair done here. I am a guy who has never had my hair permed before, but I thought what hell, why not? I called them up a few days prior and was able to book an appointment pretty easily. Once I showed up they pretty much sat me down and got started right away. I showed them a few pictures for reference and that was all that was needed. I wanted loose curls, just something wavy and has some body. The two women working on my hair were so nice to me the whole time and knew exactly what they were doing. I was so happy with the results. Will definitely be returning at some point to get this done again.

I’ve been to many different hair salons and I was recommended to her by multiple people. I would say Yen and her ladies did an amazing job. Customer services, good prices, and her techniques were excellent, I enjoyed talking to her and getting to know her since this was my first time coming in.
