Haircuts Mia Salon

Mia is absolutely wonderful. I was hospitalized and my hair wound up in the same ponytail for a week. I spent four days trying to get out a rat's nest that developed on the back of my head. I'm home recovering and this salon is across the street. She stayed after hours and spent a lot of time helping to fix this mess. She even tried not to charge me! She's very sweet and her hair is perfect. Give her a try!

For those of you that have posted poor reviews about an increase of prices....LOOK around at your world! As a small business owner I sympathize with all small businesses today in south Florida, I am quite aware of the increased costs of insurances, leases, products and OVERHEAD. Haircuts by Mia has been my go to for many years and I support as many local businesses that I can , for those that complain about the increase all I can say is "wake up to reality " you are probably the same ones that don't tip either, It's called survival . I commend her for doing whatever necessary to continue her career.

Sadly my husband and I have been getting our hair cut by Leona for the last year or so for 19$ per haircut. It normally takes Leona 20 minutes total to cut both of our heads. Today we arrived and was told the price increased from 19$ to 24 $ each. That’s more than a 26% increase. We proceeded to get our fast haircuts at the higher price. I was told the price increased due to a higher rent for the location. Customers should be told in advance before arriving for the haircut. I suggest to Leona that she needs to find more hairstylists to fill the empty barber chairs in her establishment or perhaps find a smaller location to support her small business. Leona’s hair cut is above average even though she doesn’t use a razor blade on the trim and there is no tissue between the cape and neck of male customers.

I love this place!!! They give great haircuts, I wouldn"t go anywhere else. Prices very reasonable. The staff is super helpful & friendly. It is always a pleasure going there.

How about a little consideration. Very upset today.!! Loyalty gets you nowhere. We've been going to Leona for a very long time and I understand prices go up. I've sent many people there as well. I made an appointment for my mom and we get there today and we are NOW informed of the steep price increase. I am upset because we should've been told when we made the appointment that this increase was in effect. I had my dadv( who's 80 ) drive all the way to my house from Hallandale Beach so I could take my Mom for her haircut. What an inconvenience for my elderly Dad and myself. They decide to tell us once we are there to finding out about the new prices. IT SHOULD'VE BEEN DOACLOSED WHEN THE APPOINTMENT WAS SET. Had we known it went up that much at the time of the appointment we wouldn't have made it, my Mom can't afford those prices now. Have a little consideration for people's time. I could've taken her elsewhere, like where I go, for $35 cut, blow-dry and wash, YES ALL THAT FOR $35 in Wilton Manors no less. They are now charging $30 for a cut and blow dry is an additional $25. How do you even know what your hair looks like if you don't get it styled!? Very disappointed with the way this business treated us this time around and I will no longer be going there or taking my Mom and I will tell all my friends I sent there what happened. They won't be pay by these prices either. She could've at least honored one last cut and style, considering we were not told about the increase at the time of the appointment. Long time customer gone for good. Good luck!

Very detailed, pleasant personality, clean environment. What more could you ask for....?I just came back from Mia's. Great haircut..fit me in.. they take walk ins, but I am sure they would prefer to book a time with you. I only came back on here because I see a few on here complaining about prices. Welcome to trickle down... rents go up..prices have to follow. Kinda like a tariff. Thanks for a great haircut.
