Girl Crush Salon and Spa

I have been here many times to see Christina, but today I had a change of plans and a need for a cut before a wedding. Brandy was able to work me in, give me a consult on my hair and then make me look like new! She had every opportunity to up-sell me but didn’t want to do anything unnecessary. She even showed me how to do my hair for the wedding! (They do bridal / prom too!) This is a lovely salon that is fun, does amazing work and is exceptionally honest. I can’t wait to go back!

I had the same hairdresser for 18 years and had to give her up as I moved away. Since moving I've tried four different hairstylists but to date hadn't found anyone I wanted to stay with. That has now changed since I went to Girl Crush yesterday and Christina did an amazing job on my hair. I felt so at home and comfortable with her as she was so kind and thoughtful. I felt everything she suggested was to make my hair more beautiful, have less upkeep and fewer salon visits. She suggested I change the color of my hair to better complement my complexion and also to eliminate the need to have roots done regularly. She worked on my hair for hours and considering all that she did was very fair in her charges. The end result was beautiful. I would recommend Christina to anyone looking for a true skilled professional stylist and who also has your best interests at heart.

Girl Crush Salon and Spa has a wonderfully relaxed vibe – the bright décor, comfy chairs and upbeat humor made my first visit a treat. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere feels like a chic lounge, not just a hair salon. I loved the subtle music and the way the space feels clean and inviting. Great place to unwind while getting a haircut or a new color. Would definitely come back again.

I made an appointment with Christina to cut my hair. I was nervous because I was going to go shorter. Christina made me feel very comfortable about the cut and explained every step of the way what she was doing. She also taught me how to blow out my new cut and I didn't feel rushed at all!! I love the cut and how easy it is to do! I would highly recommend Girl Crush for any hair needs-cut, color, extensions... You won't regret it!!

I recently had Brandy do the hair for my bridal party (bride, 2 bridesmaids, MOB, and 2 flower girls). Ultimately, I liked how my hair looked leaving the salon but in hind sight I would have gone elsewhere. I chose this salon because of the affordable prices but wish I hadn’t locked myself into a contract before having the hair trial. Posted below are my inspo pic (me at my sister’s wedding just 4 months prior, done by Boston Beauty Network who I wish I went with), how my hair looked from the trial and then what I ended up with on my wedding day. My curls didn’t last long at all but my hair did look nice leaving the salon. I also think that adding an automatic gratuity of 25% is kinda crazy. I would understand 20% but was caught off guard by 25%. Overall, I think this salon could work for some brides but I would definitely recommend a trial well in advance to give you time to shop around before signing a contract.

From the moment I walked in, the vibe at Girl Crush Salon and Spa was wonderful. The bright décor, cozy seating and amazing staff made me feel relaxed. My haircut was spot on and the stylist’s (Lydia) attention to detail was impressive. Always looking forward to my next hair cut!

Transitioning to grey at such a young age is a difficult thing to deal with. It took me weeks after I stopped buying box dye in early July 2025 to find a hair professional I was willing to trust. Brandy was the best choice! Not only was the shop comfortable and inviting, but Brady's easy going, non-judgmental and fun personality made this experience all the better. She listened, understood exactly what I wanted and was very honest with how the transition would go. She gave me exactly what I wanted. Well worth the 45 minute drive, the cost and the experience all together! Thank you!!
