Michelle is the best stylist ever! I drive all the way from Sacramento just to see her. My boyfriend lives in the bay area and she is friendly enthusiastic and remembers me every single time. She also does a fast efficient cut. I highly recommend.

The ladies here are always friendly and attentive. They follow your instructions with respect for what they know looks good and what doesn't. Been going here for a good 8 years now but my haircut today with Lu (sp) finally inspired a review.

My son and Miss Lucy keep chattering throughout the haircut session. It’s so much fun to watch them. Discuss about Christmas. Discuss about what they will do how the tree decorated and about Miss Lucy. What are the new stuff they learnt about the school? I’m so glad we have such a good parlour for my five year old kid here. Miss Lucy is the best

Good for cheap haircuts But if you looking for a clean and sharper look, not the place. Asked for a high skin fade and the barber was struggling and couldn’t even fade it properly and was just rushing. I know thats the whole idea behind this franchise but I still had to blow off hair from my clothes as she was just rushing and didn’t even make sure to blow off the hair from my face after finishing very below average fade.

LUCY TAN is Unprofessional and Rude – I Would Never Go Back I had a 10:15 AM appointment with Lucy Tan, which I booked in advance specifically to avoid waiting. I arrived early at 10:03 AM and Lucy actually approached me to which I let her know about the appointment. Instead of acknowledging that, she chose to take a walk-in who had just entered. I immediately spoke up and reiterated that I had an appointment, but she completely dismissed me and said I would need to "wait my turn." Seriously? Even the walk-in customer felt uncomfortable and offered to let me go first, recognizing that I had booked ahead of time — but Lucy flat-out refused. What’s worse is that she told the other ladies working there not to take me, as if I had done something wrong. I was stunned. Her attitude was unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and downright disrespectful. This is not how you treat paying customers, and it’s certainly not the kind of service one expects from a professional salon. I left feeling embarrassed and completely devalued as a customer. It was the kind of experience that sticks with you — for all the wrong reasons. If you're looking for basic respect and professionalism, go anywhere else. I would never recommend Lucy Tan or this establishment to anyone. Appointments clearly mean nothing here, and neither does customer service.

I’ve had good and bad here. Unfortunately there is one lady I seem to get everytime I go there. I am getting bald but what hair I have should take more than five minutes to do. I couldn’t get to my regular barber he will take about 1/2 hour to do my hair. Don’t think I’ll go back and wasn’t worth $29. I didn’t even get the complimentary hot towel I was supposed to get.

Awesome experience as usual. Nancy always cuts my hair and she does an awesome job, she cuts it the way I like it. Thank you, Nancy!
